HERE IS THE STORY OF MAN WHO DRILLED THROUGH ROCK
There was a farmer named Mr. Chemhuru in Kadoma. For 3 years, his crops failed. The rains were late, the river dried up, and his children walked 4km every day to fetch water.
Neighbors told him, ''Boreholes in This Area are a Waste of Money. It's all rock. You'll drill and get nothing''
Mr. Chemhuru almost believed them. But he remembered something his grandfather used to say: ''Water Doesn't Live on the Surface. It Hides. You Have to be Patient and Go Deep Enough to Find It.''
He saved for months. Instead of drilling blindly, he first paid for a geophysical survey. The surveyor pointed to one spot and said, '' DIG HERE. There's a fracture at 52 meters.'' Drilling was hard. at 30 meters they hit solid granite. the machine was slow. at 45 meters, still dry. His wife whispered, ''Maybe There Were Right.''
But Mr. Chemhuru said, '' We Came This Far Because Someone Showed Us Where to Look. Let's Go 7 meters More.'' At 52 meters - water. Not a trickle. A strong flow. Enough for his home, his 2 hectares of maize, and 3 neighboring families. Now his farm is feeding the whole growth point, kids don't miss school to fetch water anymore.
THREE LESSONS FROM MR. CHEMHURU
1. Don't Dig Everywhere, Dig with Direction:
A survey saved him from 3 dry holes. In life too - get counsel, get data, get clarity before you start.
2. The Breakthrough is Often 1 meter past Where you Want to Quit:
At 45 meters there was nothing. at 52 meters there was everything. keep going when it gets hard.
3. Water Multiplies:
One borehole didn't just help Mr. Chemhuru. it is helping community. When you solve your problem the right way, others benefit too.
