Status : Under Construction - Harare Inspired by the quiet power of the cocoon, Casa Capullo is conceived as a sanctuary
where life evolves, matures, and ultimately flourishes.
Just as a cocoon protects the delicate process of transformation, the architecture of the home creates a protective shell that nurtures its inhabitants while gradually opening itself to light, landscape, and movement.
The design expresses this idea through layered forms, sculptural curves, and protective
overhangs that wrap around the living spaces like a natural enclosure. Solid elements anchor the structure to the earth, while expansive glazing dissolves boundaries
between interior and exterior, allowing light to pe*****te deep into the heart of the home.
A defining feature of the architecture is the circular roof opening, symbolizing
emergence and renewal. This gesture allows daylight to cascade into the upper spaces,
creating a dynamic interplay of shadow and light throughout the day — much like the
gradual unfolding of life within a cocoon.
Casa Capullo is not merely a residence, but an architectural metaphor for protection,
growth, and rebirth — a place where life unfolds naturally within a carefully crafted shell.
