Joseph (Joe) Trimboli represents the third generation behind GTS Farms, a thriving family potato farm and packhouse built from his grandfather Giuseppe’s beginnings after migrating from Italy in the 1950s. In a sector dominated by high-volume producers, GTS has grown by specialising – developing gourmet and kipfler potato lines supported by strong relationships with independent retailers and wholesalers nationwide. Joe leads packhouse production and marketing, building a loyal customer base and driving the successful launch of new gourmet lines across Australia, with a strong focus on taste and cooking performance. The business continues to expand production, including at Waikerie, and has also established a successful export pathway. On-farm, GTS is known for trialling new practices and being an early adopter of Integrated Pest Management, while Joe also advocates on key regional issues alongside industry.
