✨ Bringing Plans to Life | Big Plans Melbourne

There’s something pretty special about seeing your future home come to life before construction even begins!

We recently took our clients to Big Plans Melbourne for an immersive, life-size walkthrough of their new home.

With their floor plans projected at a 1:1 scale, our clients were able to walk through each space, experience the layout and gain a real sense of how their home will look and feel.

It’s an incredible opportunity to visualise the design, explore spatial relationships and make those all-important decisions with confidence before building begins.

At Ballarat Custom Homes, we’re passionate about making the building journey as considered, collaborative and exciting as the finished home itself.

Because every great home begins with a great plan.

Progress update ✨

Our Invermay build is really starting to come alive.

The stunning curved walls through the entry passageway are creating such a beautiful sense of flow, and with the joinery now being installed, we’re beginning to see all those carefully considered details take shape.

There’s something pretty special about this stage of a build — when the vision starts becoming a home.

More to come from this one. 🤍

Alfredton Renovation | Frame Stage.

Progress taking shape on site at our Alfredton renovation.

We’re currently finalising the frame alterations following the reconfiguration of several internal walls, creating a new layout that will better suit the way the home is used.

With the structural changes coming together, the new spaces are starting to take shape and the transformation is becoming much easier to see.

Looking forward to sharing more as this renovation progresses.

Design starts with the details.

We recently received the most stunning porcelain samples from our fabulous rep at Smartstone and it’s safe to say we’re feeling inspired. From soft, natural stone looks to beautifully refined marble finishes, these selections are timeless, versatile and perfect for creating elegant, considered interiors.

Choosing materials is one of our favourite parts of the design process—carefully curating every finish to ensure each home feels cohesive, functional and uniquely tailored to our clients.

We can’t wait to incorporate these into some exciting upcoming projects.

A few of our favourite details from our current Invermay renovation.

Featuring stunning tiles from Ballarat Tiles, the statement stone fireplace by rms.traders, tapware from Yabby Bathware, custom cabinetry by IDEAL CABINETRY and the perfect finishing touch cabinetry handles from Bayside Luxe® —every detail played a part in bringing this vision to life.

Completion is fast approaching, and we can’t wait to reveal the finished home. Stay tuned.
