Stocklands Newport Development

Few snap shots of the recently completed Stocklands Development at Newport for Hutchinson Builders.

The works comprised of 2 separable portion multi residential buildings along with a new Early Learning Centre.

The crew performed so well on the first portion of the works that we managed to secure the following contracts for the additional buildings and aditional referrals from Stocklands for future developments.

Great work from all the workers involved and more photos will follow shortly of of the quality workmanship.

MITRE 10, ROCKHAMPTON

Just like every other roof in Rockhampton Mitre 10 was part of the 604 million dollar damage due to the recent storms which produced 8 - 10cm diameter hail stones.

It took months to get the job approved for commencement but it didn't take long for the guys to knock over the first roof, the staff were very happy with the 5 day turnaround for the trade store cement shed roofs.

The team worked long hours each day and through the weekend to ensure the disruptions to the stores trading were kept to minimum.

Not only was the roof sheet replaced but also the insulation and safety mesh due to its non compliance of current industry standards.

Good work to everyone who worked on the project and thanks to Canfell Construction for your proactive approach to get the project across the line.
