Bec is the one who sits down with you and your floor plan and maps how the light will move through your home, room by room. She has seven years in the lighting industry, along with a background in interior design and a diploma in construction management, so she understands how a home comes together from the plan right through to the finish.

It means the lighting is considered alongside everything else from the beginning, not treated as an afterthought once the walls are up.

Building a home means holding a hundred moving parts at once, and the electrical scope is one of the easiest for things to slip through.

A light that ended up in the wrong spot. A switch nobody planned for. Automation added on at the end and never quite settling in with the rest of the house.
