KBT Hire

30/10/2026

When you run a family business, work and family life tend to blend into one. 🖤

The KBT kids have grown up around the business, and sometimes that means tagging along for everyday jobs!
Just like delivery day today, when we welcomed a new Sullair 900 CFM diesel compressor to the yard by the awesome JAK Transport team 👏🏽

Our littlest KBT dude was ecstatic watching the tilt tray unload it! 🚛

It's Rental Week, so we put Brent in the hot seat for some quick fire questions on why hire 🎬

No big upfront costs, no storage, no maintenance. Just the right gear when you need it.

Before you buy it, see if you can hire it 👍

For the last 18 months we've been listening, watching and paying attention to what's happening across our region.

The fleet we're building at KBT Hire isn't about having every type of equipment on the lot. That's not the business we want to be. It's about what people actually need, the gaps we see in equipment and project support, and the things that just aren't easy to get hold of up here.

So our fleet is intentional. We work with our trusted supplier network to get idle gear out working, and we fill the gaps we notice every single day.

Which brings us to the exciting bit 🙌 We're growing our diesel range and have welcomed 5 new diesel trailers to the fleet, with additional portable fuel pods and larger diesel tanks coming soon. From portable fuel storage to transportable diesel solutions, we're continuing to build options around what our customers need. And keep an eye out, because we're working on an easier way to book and collect our diesel range too 👀

This one's a little celebration for us, but mostly it's a big thank you. To our customers, suppliers and the wider hire community who keep backing us and recommending us, you're the reason we're here. We don't take that for granted.

School holidays = mixing a little work with a little play ☀️😂

Luckily, when you work around equipment, sometimes the kids are pretty happy to tag along!

We’ve been trialling some new Video VMS boards and apparently changing what’s on the screen can keep kids entertained for way longer than expected. 😂

These trailer-mounted, solar-powered LED displays have plenty of uses — traffic management, roadworks, safety messaging, emergency notifications and more.

But we’re especially excited about their potential for events 👀
Hopefully you’ll see a few of these popping up around events in our region over the next 12 months!

Work trial for us. School holiday entertainment for them. Win-win. 🙌

Need equipment? You know who to call. We’ll source it, supply it and help keep things moving. 🤝

One little unit. A heap of uses on site. 💦

Our KBT206 300L Fire Fighting Pod isn’t just there for fire response.

Throw it on the back of the ute and it’s ready for radiator washouts on compressors, washing mud off excavator tracks, cleaning down machinery, or tidying up after field maintenance.

Powered by a Yanmar diesel engine + Davey water pump, it’s a simple, portable solution when you’re working on site or out in remote areas without easy access to water.

It’s the kind of project support equipment we focus on within our everyday KBT fleet — practical gear that keeps jobs moving, while we work alongside our supplier network to source and supply everything else your project needs.

No need to mobilise something bigger than the job requires. Load it up, fill it with 300L of water and off you go.

🏏 Proud to support local!
We’re excited to be on board as a Club Sponsor of
Pinnacle Cricket Club for the 2026/27 season.

Supporting our local community is incredibly important to us at KBT. As a small, family owned business, we know just how much local support means, and we genuinely love being in a position where we can give some of that support back.

Local sporting clubs bring people, families and communities together, and we’re proud to play a small part in supporting the people who make that happen.

We’re looking forward to a great season ahead for Pinnacle Cricket Club! 🏏🧡

🏏 WELCOME TO THE PINNACLE FAMILY | KBT INDUSTRIES & KBT HIRE 🏏

Pinnacle Cricket Club is very pleased to welcome KBT Industries and their customer-facing division, KBT Hire, as a new Club Sponsor for the 2026/27 season. 💛💚

For us, this partnership is another great example of local supporting local.

KBT is a small local business with strong roots in the Pioneer Valley and Mackay region, and supporting local sporting clubs and the community is something the team genuinely values. We are very grateful that they have chosen to get behind Pinnacle Cricket and become part of our club.

For those who aren't familiar with KBT, they make equipment hire simple. KBT provides one point of contact to source, supply and coordinate equipment for projects across Mackay, the Bowen Basin and beyond. Their network allows them to assist with everything from mine-compliant light vehicles, trailers, generators and compressors through to earthmoving equipment, water trucks, service trucks, mobile offices and other project equipment. They can also coordinate transport, servicing and maintenance throughout the hire.

Their approach is pretty straightforward: one contact, one invoice and a smarter way to organise equipment hire, while working with and supporting other local and regional suppliers along the way.

As a community cricket club in the Pioneer Valley, partnerships with businesses like KBT make a genuine difference to what we can provide for our senior and junior players.

A big Pinnacle welcome and thank you to the KBT team. We are looking forward to having KBT Industries and KBT Hire alongside us this season and hopefully for many seasons to come. 💛💚🏏

Make sure you support the businesses that support our club.
