Happy Mother’s Day to all the mums, nans, aunties and besties who love kids like their own.

Megs is spending the day doing what she wanted - a fire with family, easy lunch and chocolate pudding for dessert. I’m sure we will find her reading on her Kindle later today.

The photo of us together is the day Meg’s went in for egg collection and it was that collection that gave us both of our kids. After many years of heartache, Linc was the first baby we brought home with us and Addy’s little embryo was frozen until we brought her home with us a few years later. Becoming a mum was not easy but watching Megs mum our kids is one of my greatest pleasures in life.

Keeping our business going, our house going and working full time - how you manage to balance it all while being so present with the kids.

Hope everyone is doing something special today just for them, if your heart is aching today, I hope you do lots of extra special things for yourself.

Teaching our kids about Anzac Day and watching every year as they understand it in a deeper sense. I’ll never forget walking through the war memorial and our 7 year old son crying at the sacrifice made by all who have served Australia.

Easter started with fires and kids playing with friends

Today the kids and I (Megs) have made it to Coffs Harbour by 8am. 3 hours until we reach the Gold Coast for our annual week with my bestie and our kids.

Happy Easter everyone - hope you’ve had great weather and lots of time with those you love. Fingers crossed the Easter bunny got our note that we will be in Queensland for egg deliveries 🐣🍫🐰
