The Weekly Roundup 🚧🔥

The crews are absolutely flat out across the country, with plenty of dirt moving and some seriously good looking projects taking shape. Here’s what’s happening at COG…

📍 Aldershot Pumptrack, VIC

Asphalt is down! The team is now working through the finishing touches and getting this one closer to the finish line. Keep swinging, lads! 🔥

📍 JD Hardie, WA

Wow… just wow. 💥

Our Construction Manager, Jordon, dropped in for a site visit last week and carried out some very important “quality control”, which apparently involved us paying him to ride his bike on some jumps.

His official feedback? This place is awesome! Well done to Roly and the team for delivering this one! 🤘

The crew has been quietly chipping away up north with some help from our friends at Three Chillis. This mega jump facility is really starting to take shape. Surfacing works are underway and it’s looking seriously good.

Awesome work by everyone involved! 👊

📍 Lions and Norrie, QLD

The mega drainage install is complete and the crew is now swinging through the base shapes. There’s plenty happening on this one and we’re looking forward to seeing the design start coming to life! 🚜

📍 Angry Bull Trails, Currys Gap, NSW

Tech, flow, jumps, rocks and just about every other ingredient you need for a bloody good trail network.

The crew has been carving its way through an epic bit of country and this trail network is really starting to come together. We can’t wait to see how this place rides! 🌿🤘

📍 Banyan Reserve, VIC

Nearly time for asphalt! The crew has been busy shaping and refining the track, getting everything dialled in and ready for the black stuff.

Not long now! 👀🔥

We have a few other jobs on the go but these are being kept under wraps until they are complete.🤫 🤐 🚧

ANZAC PARK, QLD - COMPLETE! 🔥

Another fantastic project delivered by the Common Ground Trails team.

A huge congratulations to Connor G (BIG C) and the entire Anzac Park crew for bringing this facility to life. The finished result looks incredible.🤘

A special mention to Connor for his supervision and leadership throughout the project. A great effort getting this one across the line and delivering a result the whole team can be proud of. 👊

We’d also like to recognise Troy and Finn, who stepped up as operators throughout the build and did an outstanding job. It’s great to see our team continuing to develop their skills, take on new responsibilities and grow with each project. 🚜

And a shoutout to Zac, one of the newer members of the COG crew, who joined the team towards the end of the project and played his part in getting the final works completed. Great to have you on board! 💪

Plenty of dirt moved, plenty of shapes built, plenty of asphalt laid and of course, a few laps completed for essential “quality assurance and media development.” 📸🚲

A massive thank you to everyone who contributed to delivering Anzac Park. We’re incredibly proud of the finished facility and can’t wait to see the local community enjoying it.

The Weekly Roundup is BACK 🚧🔥

It’s been a little while since our last roundup… but things definitely haven’t slowed down at Common Ground Trails.

The crews have been flat out across the country, projects have been completed, new ones have kicked off, and there’s been plenty of dirt moved along the way.

So, here’s a big catch-up on what’s been happening at COG 👇

📍 Aldershot Pumptrack, VIC

Base shape is complete and the crew is moving onto kerbing. This one is coming together nicely, another step closer to the black stuff! 👀

📍 Lions and Norrie, QLD

Site strip is complete and the crew has moved straight into drainage works. This design is pretty cool and we’re keen to see the shapes start popping up. 🚜

📍 Angry Bull Trail, Currys Gap, NSW

Tech, flow, jumps, rocks and all kinds of fun! The team has been busy carving their way through this epic location and the trails are really starting to come together. We can’t wait to see how this place rides 🤘🌿

DIRT JUMPS! The crew has been quietly ticking away alongside our friends at Three Chillis to bring this mega facility to life. Surfacing works are coming up, so stay tuned… this one is going to be epic 💥

A rather soggy start, but the crew has been punching on and getting it done. The first lifts are in and the team is officially on their way up! 🌧️🚜

We definitely miss hitting the gnar and sending it off into the sunset at Omeo! Those were some pretty special years with an awesome crew.

But it's just as rewarding to see what Omeo has become. Hearing how much people love riding the network and seeing riders enjoying the trails we helped build makes all the hard work worth it.

The current stage of work includes:

• 20 kilometres of new trails
• Green, blue, and black-rated riding experiences

The broader project will deliver more than 100 kilometres of trail.

The Weekly Roundup 🚧🔥

Another big week on the tools, with crews pushing through weather, moving dirt, and bringing more facilities to life across the country.

📍 Anzac Park, QLD
Preparations for the wall ride have begun and the shapes just keep getting better. The team is getting close to testing, and we’re excited to see this one start to ride as good as it looks 👀

📍 Geelong MTB Park, VIC
Asphalt is down, paint is complete, and landscaping is now underway. We’re aiming to have this one wrapped up in the next week or so.

A huge thank you to everyone who has respected the site fencing and stayed out while we finish construction. Unfortunately, unauthorised access continues to delay progress and creates additional work for the team. Please give us a little more time to finish the job properly, the sooner we can complete the final works, the sooner we can open the facility for everyone to enjoy 💥

📍 Glenfield Bike Park, NSW
Sandstone walls, fresh shapes, and a few weather challenges along the way. Despite the conditions, the team is doing an incredible job and this massive facility is continuing to take shape 👊

📍 Kanbyugal Trails, NSW
More trails completed and more trails on the way. The climbs are done, which means the fun stuff isn’t far behind. This network is getting better every week 🌿

📍 Flyway, Hobart, TAS
The crew has been battling the Tassie weather but continues to make great progress. Drainage works are complete and road base installation is now underway. One step closer to riding 🔥

📍 Curry’s Gap Trails, NSW
The team has landed on site and is busy preparing equipment and setting up for construction. We’re excited to get stuck into this one and can’t wait to share the progress as the project gets underway 🌲

The team has been working hard on this one. The shapes are starting to come to life and the facility is beginning to show its potential. We’ve got a feeling this one is going to be a favourite 👀

📍 Geelong MTB Park, VIC
Asphalt is complete! Massive effort from the crew to get this project to the next stage. We’re excited to see the final touches come together.

Unfortunately, some eager locals have been accessing the site before completion, which has delayed opening while we carry out repairs and clean-up works. We ask everyone to please stay out just a little longer. Giving us the space to finish properly will help get this facility open and ready for everyone sooner 💥

📍 Glenfield Bike Park, NSW
The team has started shaping, with bulk works continuing across this massive facility. Every week it gets easier to picture just how epic this one is going to be 👊

📍 Kanbyugal Trails, NSW
The crew has been pushing through, shaping and refining trails that’ll create an incredible space for riders of all ages. Massive congratulations to Connor M for completing one of the trails this week… onto the next one 🌿
