🚨 50mm burst water main 🚨

The gas plant we maintain reported a leak. After thorough investigation and leak detection, we located it beneath the ladder landing accessing the cooling tower control panel 🔨

Given the location, we made the call to re-route the pipework to minimise concrete damage and maintain access to the cooling tower, keeping the plant fully operational ✅

Converted 63mm poly to 50mm copper, completed the repair, tested the line, and backfilled the area efficiently with minimal disruption 💧

We recently completed this project at a school during the holiday period, installing two new troughs in a classroom to help transform it into a fully functional art room 🎨

The job involved running both hot and cold water lines, along with setting up a suitable drainage solution to suit everyday classroom use 💧

All existing services were carefully located beforehand, and the job was planned out in detail before we started, which ensured efficient installation 🛠️

🚨 Burst on a 100mm Fire Main 🚨

We responded quickly to this one as the facility was losing a lot of water 💧

The burst was right in the middle of the main access road, so we planned the dig carefully to avoid disrupting traffic 🚧
-
Used our reliable Waga fittings to make the repair and had to divert a 40mm water main that was tight against the fire line.
Once the repair was done, we secured, backfilled, and prepped the site for asphalt ✅

Another well planned and executed job 🔧

🚨 Emergency Call-Out to a burst water main 🚨

We were called to a school we maintain after a major leak was found on a 40mm water main. Once the area was located, we got straight into excavation to expose the issue and plan an effective repair 💧
–
We cut and raised the mains line to install a new ball valve, making future maintenance easier and more efficient. While we were there, we also raised the recycled water line to match the mains height 🔧
–
After installing both lines, we tested and commissioned them successfully. The area was backfilled with sand for added protection, and we used colour-coded isolation pits to clearly separate mains from recycled water.

All work was done after hours to avoid any disruption to the school’s operations. Another well planned job executed to perfection ✅

Skylight renewal on a gymnasium complete at a school we maintain! 💧

The previous skylights were over 20 years old and constantly leaking when receiving rain. A renewal was imenent for this gym, the preperty manage decided to@go with ice clear, which would ensure the gym receives optimum light from the sheets ☀️

Big few days to get these all done, the end result was perfect as planned. A clear difference between the new and old leaving the property manager stoked ✅
