We’re pleased to be working with Fairbrother on the Devonport Sports Complex build! 🏗️

Construction sites are a target for theft and trespassing once the crews knock off for the day. That’s where we come in. Our solar-powered security towers are now in place around the site, giving Fairbrother:

✅ 24/7 monitored CCTV coverage
✅ Intruder detection with alarms that sound if anyone enters out of hours
✅ Relocatable units that move with the build as it progresses
✅ No reliance on site power

It’s a great project for the Devonport community, and we’re proud to help keep it protected while it takes shape.

Another Tassie job wrapped — and this one was a big one.

A Launceston quarry needed to be filled in, which means every single truckload that comes through the gate has to be recorded and reported to the EPA. Their old system? A clipboard and a good memory.

Here's what we built instead:

✅ CCTV across the site, including cameras capturing what's in the back of every truck
✅ Automatic number plate recognition on entry and exit
✅ A wireless bridge running five spans from the main building out to the gates
✅ Solar-powered entry AND exit boom gates — no mains power needed
✅ Custom software built by our team at RaptorX Systems

Now a driver rolls up, opens the app, enters their details, and the gate lifts. As it does, the system automatically grabs a photo of the licence plate and a wide shot showing whether they've got a trailer on — both land straight on the owner's dashboard.

From that dashboard the owner can see how many trucks have been through today, where every load came from, and what it weighed. Drivers, suppliers and source locations are all managed in one place, and the whole lot exports at the press of a button when the EPA comes knocking.

Security system and compliance system, all in one. That's the bit we're proud of.

Got a site with a gate and a paperwork problem? Give us a yell.

Another job ticked off for a local farming client — a discreet 4K dome camera installed, with a clear line of sight straight over the diesel bowser and fuel shed.
Fuel theft on rural properties is on the rise, and with diesel prices where they are, it doesn't take much to add up to thousands of dollars lost. This setup gives the owners peace of mind around the clock:
🎥 Wide-angle coverage of the entire bowser and shed area
🚜 Smart human and vehicle detection — no more false alerts from wildlife
📲 Instant notifications to their phone if anything moves on site after hours
💾 Footage stored locally on an NVR back at the house, with weeks of recording on hand if it's ever needed
🌧️ Built to handle the Tassie weather year-round
If you've got a farm, workshop, or yard that needs eyes on it when you're not there, give Raptor Site Security a call. We design every system around the property — no cookie-cutter packages.
