FTB Boiler Upgrade for Manly Council Aquatic Centre

Simons Boilers is proud to share our latest boiler replacement project for the Andrew ‘Boy’ Charlton Aquatic Centre in Sydney’s north.

We were engaged to replace the aquatic centre’s outdated system, as the existing boilers had reached the end of their service life. Simons Boilers managed every aspect of the boiler upgrade, from design though to installation and commissioning. This includes the removal of the outdated system, and the installation of FTB 800kW hot water boilers to better support the centre’s operational requirements.

The new firetube boiler system supplies hot water to heat the indoor and outdoor pools, while also providing heating for the aquatic centre itself. Each element of the new system was designed to ensure consistent performance, supporting the aquatic centre year-round.
