I needed to get in and out of here before the kitchen staff turned up. They didn't like the gas leak on the manifold, only because it caught on fire a few minutes after the start of every shift. Other than that, the leak wasn't a problem

backstory in the comments

This letter I received from Ford Motor Company Australia can be paraphrased as follows.

Dear Josh

Here at Ford Australia, everybody and everything is just a number and you're the smallest of the small. You're a sole trading toilet mechanic with just one vehicle, and probably no money so you mean nothing to us.

We realise your Ford Transit Custom van has been off the road for more than three months, and you're using an inadequate rental van, and we don't know when your van will be repaired, but we don't care.

We have a team of experienced lawyers who specialise in automotive consumer law on our payroll, and we've worked out that we can flex the unclear meaning of that law to argue our way out of meeting the intention of the law to save the corporation some money. The money it would cost us to replace the van is crumbs to us, but we would rather spend our money on a legal fight than give you a replacement vehicle because it's cheaper for us to fight. You're such a small player that we don't care what you think of us, and we're pretty sure you aren't financial enough to risk what it would cost you to fight us, so we've decided that treating you with contempt is going to save the company the most money.

We could have decided to replace your vehicle for the benefit of the reputation of Ford Australia, and if you were operating a large fleet we would most likely have replaced your vehicle months ago so that you don't start buying Toyotas, but you don't operate a large fleet, so you can go and buy a Hiace for all we care.

We have more lawyers than you can afford.

Haha

You know when people leave nasty water in the sink and you don't fancy putting your hand in there to pull the plug? Franke has that scenario covered with this pop-up waste

I've just finished adjusting the appliance regulator pressure for an old Metters brand 8 burner grill I'm installing in a commercial kitchen. The appliance was received set up for use with propane so I had to resize the injectors for use with natural gas. I've drilled each injector to flow a little under 9Mj/h @ 1.0 KPa.

I used 30 hessian bags to square up the footing pads, and 100kg of concrete to support gullies and inspection openings. (plungers can break the bottom of drains when they strike unsupported pipe)
All penetrations through concrete members are double-wrapped with foam, and penetrations leaving the building are fitted with swivel joints to reduce the risk of the drains breaking with ground movement.
Nearest is the bathroom group, then the laundry group, and farthest away is the kitchen. The 100mm pipe in the kitchen is a conduit for water pipes to be installed under the slab to the island bench.
The laundry group has 2x 50mm risers which is unusual. The distant one is being extended to the roof space to become a tundish for condensate waste from the air conditioner.
The nearest riser is a basin waste deliberately raised just outside the bathroom in the garage floor which will be 344mm higher than the bathroom floor, hence the foam wrap on the riser.
Every branch leaving the building will have its own inspection opening raised to surface which you can see to the right in this pic.

Today we installed a 22000L precast concrete rainwater tank in Banksia Park.
Yesterday we pulled out 64 cubic metres of ground (4m x 4m x 4m) ready for base preparation this morning, completed in time for 0930 delivery. The delivery itself took 3 hours, craning just under 10 tonnes worth of components into position. Ri Industries supplied and delivered the tank and I'm going to say their product and the performance of their delivery driver was first class.
In this pic we had just positioned the riser over the access hole and traced the inside with a crayon, then lifted the riser out of the way so I could put the mastic on the tank.

Here I'm using an unconventional approach to repairing this broken drain. It was critical that I limit the damage to floor tiles because exact replacements aren't available and we only have 40 original spares. I decided to try drilling a 450mm core hole and lifting the piece out. In order to be able to do that, I cut the vertical pipe which would have otherwise held onto the concrete piece and prevented its removal.
The conventional way of cutting a floor is to use a demolition saw which makes straight cuts that need to be overlapped at the corners. Those over-cuts damage tiles adjacent to the area needing to be excavated which risked exceeding our 40 tile limit.
