Another new civic landmark for emergency readiness in Stand Off, Alberta. Ian Moxon Architect Inc. is privileged to be part of the Blood Tribe 148 Emergency Services Building in Standoff, AB. A purpose-driven facility designed to support fire, EMS, operational readiness, training, wellness, and community protection. Conceived as both a high-performance emergency services facility and a visible symbol of service, the architecture brings together strength, clarity, and identity. Its bold massing, red apparatus frontage, transparent civic face, and durable material expression create a striking presence rooted in function and responsibility. Now in the tendering phase and anticipated to move into construction this year, the project reflects the strength of collaboration between Blood Tribe 148, Talbera International Technologies Ltd., the consultant team, and IMA. For our studio, this project represents the kind of work we value most: architecture that is purposeful, technically coordinated, and grounded in community service — delivered with care from design vision through construction documentation and project delivery.
