Ian Moxon Architect Inc. was pleased to collaborate with Elevate Construction Partners Inc. to provide the home base for 1st TechniCall Systems. The clean industrial/commercial hybrid design combines standing seam metal cladding in a warm charcoal with black accents. The bold canopy anchors the public face of the building to direct customers to the office portion of the building. The office wing is connected to the shop to keep operations aligned, and we've provided a strong street presence. Every material choice was intentional for durability, low maintenance, and cost-effectiveness.

We’re pleased to welcome Candy Vandewal to the team at Ian Moxon Architect Inc. Candy manages our accounting processes, bringing a thoughtful and detail-oriented approach to the financial side of our work. Her role helps ensure everything operates smoothly behind the scenes, allowing our team to stay focused on delivering well-considered design and service to our clients. She is a graduate of the University of Lethbridge, where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in Management, and she brings several years of experience in bookkeeping and finance. Outside of work, Candy enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and their Boston terrier. She loves travelling, being outdoors, hiking, and baking – especially sourdough and desserts. We’re grateful to have her as part of the team and appreciate the care and consistency she brings to her work.

Work nears completion on a new 1,625 sf, two-storey Daycare facility within North Lethbridge, AB.
The facility programming will support 50 children of various age groups and seven staff members within five large Classrooms on both the Basement and Main Floor levels. Each classroom has several windows which provide natural lighting and access to the front and rear yards, overall play areas. A staff room, office, kitchen and service rooms complete the overall building footprint. The exterior design aligns with the existing neighbourhood design with a pitched roof, cement board & vinyl siding as well as PVC windows.
