Turns out, none of it was random.
Bridal makeup artist. Healthcare. Farming. And eventually, real estate.
On paper, I'll admit, that's a pretty interesting career path.😅 But looking back, I can see pieces of every one of those jobs in the way I work with real estate clients today.
Bridal makeup taught me how to stay calm when emotions are high and the moment really matters.
Healthcare taught me to listen, put people first and think beyond how a home looks to how it will actually function for the person living there.
And farming? Farming taught me grit. Things don't always go according to plan. Sometimes you problem solve, roll up your sleeves and get the job done.
real estate asks a lot of the same things from me.
Sometimes I'm negotiating an offer or working through a complicated deal. Sometimes I'm helping someone think through how a home will work as their family changes. And sometimes I'm quite literally walking through a muddy construction site in boots.
My career path definitely wasn't a straight line, but I'm really thankful it wasn't.
Every part of it helped me shape the Realtor I am today.
