Registon Building Restoration was proud to attend and exhibit at the recent Wilson Blanchard Management, An Associa Company Condo Con, supporting an event that brought together condominium professionals for education, connection, and industry insight.

Jay represented Registon as both an exhibitor and a speaker during the session “Aging Condos: Planning and Delivering Successful Restoration Projects.”

It was an excellent opportunity to share expertise on restoration planning, project delivery, and the importance of proactive strategies for aging condominium communities.

We were also proud to be part of an event supporting Associa Cares, which raised approximately $212,000 to help communities and families in need.

Thank you to Wilson Blanchard, Associa Cares, and everyone who helped make the event such a success. We’re grateful to be part of conversations that support stronger, safer, and better-maintained communities.

There are a lot of misconceptions about restoration work, especially when damage looks small on the surface.

A minor water leak can lead to mold, structural damage, and hidden deterioration if it is not addressed properly. Fire damage, smoke, and soot also require professional cleaning and repair to prevent lasting issues.

The truth is, fast professional response matters. Early action can reduce damage, speed up recovery, and help protect the long-term condition of your property.

At Registon Building Restoration, we help assess the issue, identify the right repair approach, and restore properties with safety, quality, and durability in mind.

Have concerns about water, fire, mold, storm, or structural damage? Connect with the Registon team to start the conversation.

Sustainable property care is about more than maintaining buildings. It is also about making choices that support healthier communities and a greener future.

At Registon Building Restoration, we believe restoration plays an important role in sustainability. Extending the life of existing structures helps reduce unnecessary waste, conserve resources, and limit the environmental impact that can come with full replacement.

From responsible material handling to long-term repair solutions, thoughtful building maintenance helps protect both properties and the environments around them.

On International Day for Biological Diversity, we recognize the importance of protecting the spaces we build, restore, and share.

Spring rain can expose weaknesses that went unnoticed over the winter.

As snow melts and rainfall increases, water finds its way into cracks, failed joints, and aging waterproofing systems. What seemed minor during colder months can quickly turn into active leaks and visible damage.

Common issues this time of year:

• Water infiltration through cracks and joints
• Leaks at roofs, balconies, and windows
• Deterioration of sealants and waterproofing systems
• Increased moisture in parking structures and foundations

Once water enters a structure, it can accelerate deterioration and lead to more extensive repairs if not addressed.

Spring is the ideal time to inspect and identify problem areas early.

If your property is experiencing leaks or signs of moisture intrusion, the Registon team can assess the issue and recommend practical solutions.

Concrete spalling is one of the most common signs of structural deterioration.

It occurs when the surface of the concrete begins to crack, flake, or break away, often exposing the steel reinforcement beneath.

The most common causes include:

• Freeze-thaw cycles
• Water infiltration
• Corrosion of embedded steel
• Salt exposure

As steel corrodes, it expands, creating internal pressure that causes the surrounding concrete to crack and separate.

What starts as a small surface issue can progress into larger structural concerns if left unaddressed.

Early repair helps prevent further deterioration and reduces the scope of future work.

If you’re seeing signs of spalling, it may be time for a closer assessment.
