Check your:
• Roof and attic for missing shingles, leaks, or wet insulation
• Basement and crawlspace for standing water, seepage, or damp walls
• Windows and doors for broken seals, cracks, or water intrusion
• Ceilings and walls for stains, bubbling paint, soft drywall, or unusual odours

After a flood, it is natural to want to jump into cleanup mode right away, but some steps can create safety risks or make the damage worse.

We’re hiring: Construction Estimator 🚧

Registon Building Restoration Ltd. is looking for an experienced Construction Estimator to join our Toronto team ASAP.

This role is ideal for someone who understands the Ontario construction market, can manage the estimating process from opportunity review to tender submission, and works well with project managers, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key areas of responsibility include:

- Reviewing drawings, specifications, tender documents, and contract requirements
- Preparing quantity takeoffs, cost estimates, budgets, and tender submissions
- Developing scopes of work and bid invitations
- Reviewing subcontractor and supplier quotations
- Attending site visits, pre-bid meetings, and tender clarification meetings
- Supporting bid strategy, project selection, and handover

Preferred qualifications include experience in construction estimating, strong analytical and organizational skills, knowledge of Canadian construction practices, and experience with PlanSwift.
