SAMURAI STORIES 🥷🏼🐾

Ever wonder why one of our first questions is, “Do you have any pets?”

Meet Blossom. ❤️🐈‍⬛

We had just finished repainting our deck. It was looking beautiful… and apparently Blossom thought it needed a little something extra.

She walked straight across the fresh deck and then continued right into the boot room.

Fresh little kitty prints from the deck, across the threshold and onto the floor. 🐾🐾🐾

Good thing the boot room is next on our renovation list. 😂

After years of working in people’s homes, we know pets are part of the family — and they’re often very interested in what the flooring crew is doing.

That’s why we ask about your animals before we start. It helps us plan for doors, drying times, finishes and keeping those curious paws safe.

Every floor has a story.

This one belongs to Blossom. 🐾❤️

A little floor TLC goes a LONG way. 🤎

We were back at Broken Hill in Nelson for their scheduled hardwood floor maintenance — and if you’ve ever wondered whether professional cleaning actually makes a difference…

Wait until you see the water. 👀😂

These floors see serious traffic, so we use our professional Bona Deep Clean system to get into the texture of the wood and remove the dirt and buildup that everyday cleaning can leave behind.

And this isn’t just for restaurants.

🏠 Homes
🍽️ Restaurants
🏢 Commercial spaces
🛍️ Shops & offices

One of the biggest things we teach our clients is this:

You don’t always need to sand your hardwood floors to make them look better.

Regular professional maintenance can help keep your floors looking beautiful, protect the finish and extend the time between refinishing.

We can even put you on a regular maintenance schedule, so taking care of your floors becomes one less thing to think about.

Because at Samurai, we’d much rather help you take care of what you have than replace something that still has years of life left in it. ⚔️🤎

Wondering what YOUR floors need?

📲 DM us “CLEAN” or stop by the Samurai showroom in Nelson and we’ll help you figure it out.

Our doors are closed today. 🧡

We’re taking time to listen, learn and reflect honouring Survivors, their families, and remembering the children who never came home.

Every Child Matters.

We’ll be back open tomorrow, October 1, with regular hours.

Some information just gets permanently filed. 😂

Your subfloor conditions, moisture readings, wear layer, plank dimensions, install method, stair details, grout choice and the sample you loved six months ago? We’ve got you.

Our bank cards and car keys? Different department.

Turns out caring a little too much about floors takes up a lot of brain space.

A little something new has landed at Samurai. 👀

We’re now carrying Kährs flooring.

Swedish design, beautiful real wood, gorgeous colours and finishes — and over 165 years of experience making wood floors.

Basically… they know wood. We know wood. It felt like a pretty good match. 😉

Come into the showroom, see the Kährs collection in person and find your favourite.

One last look before RAMM covers these beauties up. 👀

This Nelson, BC project is coming together beautifully.

Brera engineered white oak by Urbanwood running throughout the home, paired with tile supplied by Samurai for the bathrooms and fireplace.

The hardwood is installed, the tile is taking shape, and now it’s time for RAMM to protect those floors while the rest of the build continues.

We love a good collaboration — great trades, beautiful materials and lots of details happening behind the scenes.

Work in progress… but we’re already entering a shoes-off sitch. 😂👟🚫

Things are looking pretty darn clean over here with Pac West Builders.

Still a jobsite.
Already acting like it’s move-in day.

We’ll take that as a good sign. 👀
