We recently installed a Rheem water heater at a client's home.
A water heater runs every single day, so a proper install is about more than the unit itself β the pipe connections, venting, gas hookup, and drainage all have to be handled correctly.
This job included π
πΉ Removing the old unit
πΉ Installing and securing the new water heater
πΉ Reconnecting the hot and cold water lines and the gas line
πΉ Tidying up the venting and drain lines
πΉ Leak testing, ignition, and hot water testing
Once the new unit was in, we checked the output temperature and how it was running, confirmed there were no water or gas leaks, and cleaned up the site.
If your water heater has been in service for many years and you've started noticing not enough hot water, slower heating, unusual operating noises, or water seeping from the base β it's worth booking an inspection sooner rather than later.
