Wondering what the timeline looks like for a renovation with Cabinet Works Plus?

It usually starts with an inquiry through our website. From there, we’ll chat about your space, what you’re hoping to change, and what you need it to do for you.

Next, we’ll visit your home, take measurements, and get a better feel for the project. From there, the conversations continue, designs take shape, and decisions are made before we get to work.

For a medium to large renovation, the renovation itself typically takes around 10–12 weeks, depending on the scope of work.

There’s quite a bit that happens before the first cabinet goes in, and we’re here to help you navigate all of it!

A dedicated coffee station keeps everything in one spot, with open shelving for everyday essentials and plenty of storage below. A great addition to any kitchen, especially when coffee is part of the daily routine.

Opening up a main floor often involves a lot more than simply removing a wall.

For this renovation, we brought in a structural engineer to ensure the load-bearing wall could be safely removed, allowing us to create a more open, connected space.

We also relocated the kitchen to an entirely different area of the main floor. That meant carefully planning the plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work to ensure everything was in the right place, accessible for servicing, and built with the future in mind.

It’s the work you don’t always see in the finished photos, but it’s just as important as the design itself. And it’s a big part of what goes into a full main-floor renovation.

When we’re designing a kitchen, we spend just as much time thinking about what’s behind the cabinet doors as we do about the finishes.

A look inside Project Barbican, where we’re making some big changes to the main floor.

Opening up the space was a priority for these homeowners. With new structural beams in place, we’re creating a more natural connection between the kitchen and living room, with a large island and custom cabinetry at the centre of it all.

The goal is simple: better flow, more functional space, and a main floor that feels connected from one room to the next.

We’re looking forward to seeing this one come together!
