18 years later, the original tining grooves are still intact.

This Hamilton intersection was rebuilt in 2008 with concrete and Hard-Cem® after repeated asphalt failures caused by heavy truck traffic. While surrounding pavement has required reconstruction, the Hard-Cem concrete continues to perform.

Built in 2008. Still going strong in 2026.

Kryton had a fantastic time at the Alberta Building Envelope Council (ABEC) South Annual Golf Tournament yesterday!

It was great connecting with industry partners, building new relationships, and enjoying a day on the course with members of the ABEC South community. Events like these are a great reminder that strong projects start with strong partnerships.

A big thank you to everyone who attended our technical presentation in Santiago, Chile, yesterday.

Krystol T1® is a surface-applied crystalline treatment that becomes part of the concrete, helping block water pathways from within.

On site, getting the application right matters:
• Mix to a thick slurry (~http://3.5:1 powder to water)
• Apply to a clean, saturated-surface-dry substrate
• Protect the area for at least 24 hours from traffic, rain, and freezing
• One pail covers ~20 m²—plan ahead to maintain proper coverage

Built-in waterproofing doesn’t stop at new construction—it’s just as critical in remediation.
