This office extension to an industrial warehouse is nearly complete.

The rooms are painted, the flooring is in, the doors and finishes are installed, and the space is starting to feel like somewhere our client can actually operate from.

“Almost done” doesn’t mean rushing to the finish line. It means going back through the space for the final details: cleanup, touch-ups, walkthroughs, and making sure everything is where it should be before we hand it over.

We like showing projects at this stage because this is the part people don’t always get to see. There’s still a lot of care that goes into those last few days.

This summer, David joined our Estimating team as a Construction Estimator, getting experience with quantity take-offs, tender preparation, and cost estimation.

That’s how we bring students in at PAC. To sit with the team, take on real work, and learn from people who want them to get it right.

David showed up ready and brought a strong work ethic. So we gathered to celebrate him as his term comes to a close and he heads back to school.

This completed warehouse expansion adds high-capacity storage, multiple loading docks, expanded truck courts, trailer staging, and new office space to support growing logistics operations.

Every warehouse floor starts right here. In the dirt, long before it’s anything close to clean.

First, the ground gets its shot: aggregate spread, graded, and compacted until it’s rock solid. No shortcuts here. This foundation has to carry everything that comes after it.

Then the real chaos kicks in. Trucks roll in one after another. Concrete pours in a wave. Crews move fast, equipment levels on the fly, and every second counts before it starts to set. This is where timing becomes everything.

From there, the noise fades. The screed comes through, the finish goes on, and what’s left behind is glass-smooth, inch after inch, wall to wall.

Then it’s go time. Pallets stack up, forklifts start rolling, and this floor gets put to work for TFI International.

He’s a true leader and driving force behind PAC and genuinely cares about building strong teams, giving back to the community, and lifting up everyone around him. Ask anyone and they’ll tell you he makes the people around him better.

Rental housing is built with more than concrete and capital. It’s built by people who share knowledge, challenge assumptions and make space for one another.

Melanie and Vanessa attended FEDERATION OF RENTAL-HOUSING PROVIDERS OF ONTARIO (FRPO)’s sold-out Women in Rental Housing Luncheon at the Old Mill Toronto; a room filled with women helping shape the future of Ontario’s multi-residential sector.

That matters to us. Our work may take the form of suite turnovers, conversions, and capital projects, but its purpose is always human: creating better places to live while respecting the communities already there.
