We are looking for experienced Electricians / Mechanics to join BUSS for major component exchange projects on wind turbines across Northern and Central Europe.

This is hands-on work with state-of-the-art equipment, modern tooling and advanced lifting technology — including work with the Liftra crane system.
You will be part of a strong technical team working on large-scale wind turbine projects where precision, safety and experience really matter.

What we’re looking for:
✅ Minimum 1 year of experience in major component exchange or wind turbine installation
✅ Experience with Nordex and/or Vestas turbines
✅ Good English skills
✅ Willingness to travel across Europe
✅ Strong focus on safety, teamwork and quality

Buss Energy Group is looking for an experienced:

Site Lead – Vestas Major Component Exchange (m/f/d)

📍 Based in Portugal | 🌍 Projects across Central and Northern Europe

In this role, you will take operational responsibility for onshore major component exchange sites, coordinate internal teams and subcontractors, and ensure that every project meets our safety, quality and schedule requirements. You will act as the key interface between customers, project management, technical teams and logistics.
You could be a great fit if you bring:
🔹 Experience as a Site Lead, Site Manager, Construction Manager or Supervisor in the wind industry
🔹 Strong knowledge of major component exchange and heavy-lift operations
🔹 Practical experience with Vestas turbines—or the motivation to specialise in Vestas platforms
🔹 A technical qualification or degree in mechanical, electrical, civil or a comparable engineering field
🔹 Strong ownership, a safety-first mindset and clear communication skills
🔹 Good written and spoken English and German
🔹 Flexibility to travel across Portugal and Europe

We’re building a specialized Main Component Exchange team working with the Liftra SHC crane — and we’re looking for experienced WTG electricians who know what it takes to deliver safe, high-quality component swaps in the field.

What you bring
✅ Electrical qualification / apprenticeship
✅ Proven experience on Vestas and/or Nordex WTGs desirable
✅ Hands-on experience with main component replacement
✅ EU passport (required)
✅ Good English skills (working language)
✅ Ready for rotation: 6 weeks on / 2 weeks off
