Recently big Adam visited some slightly speedier cars but not to do a key this time..

Along with his fearless daughter (who insisted on going on it with him 🙄 a mother’s nightmare) they accomplished together the tallest and fastest roller coaster in Europe. The one and only Red Force 🏎️

Located at Ferrari Land in PortAventura World near Salou, Spain, it launches riders from 0 to 180 km/h (112 mph) in just 5 seconds before climbing 112 meters (367 feet) high with a 1.35 G force …

Quick 20-minute key job? Not today! 😅

​We were adding a spare key to a 2012 Peugeot 208 when everything hit a wall—zero communication with the BSI. Battery disconnect, full BSI reset, and switching programming tools didn't budge it.
​As Auto Locksmiths, when the direct route fails, you have to think outside the box. We inspected the OBD connector directly and found pin 8 had popped loose from the wiring harness. One quick repair later and we were back in business! 🔑🚗

Lost key situation on a 2021 Citroen Relay today! 🚐🔑

​No keys? No problem. For these later PSA-platform vans, standard OBD programming won't cut it due to high-security lockouts.

​We had to pull the BSI (Body Systems Interface) module to extract the immobilizer data and PIN directly on the bench. A delicate job that requires the right training and tools to prevent data corruption, but we got it sorted and the customer is back on the road!

Nothing annoys me more than people wasting someone else’s time.

On Father’s Day, I got out of bed early, turned up for a job at 9am as agreed, only to be met with no answer at the door. No message, no call, nothing. A bit of common courtesy goes a long way. If you can’t make it, just let people know instead of leaving them standing there.

Time is valuable, especially on a day that many people could be spending with their families…

Another busy week keeping wheels turning! 🔑 🚗 From adding quick spares to resolving stressful "all keys lost" situations, we’ve been all over the area keeping drivers and local businesses moving.
A few highlights from our recent jobs:
🔹 2019 VW Caddy – All Keys Lost situation. Opened, decoded, and a brand-new remote key programmed to the modern UDS/MQB platform to get this van back on the job.
🔹 2024 Maxus Deliver 9 – Supplied and coded a spare remote key for a fleet customer. Keeping down-time to a strict minimum!
🔹 2017 Ford Transit – Full lost key replacement. Picked, decoded the HU101 lock, and programmed a new remote key right at the roadside.
🔹 2020 VW Tiguan – Added a spare dealer-style proximity key. Safely coded into the immobiliser at a fraction of main dealer prices.
