π Over Β£1,000 Raised in One Weekend π
We're incredibly proud of two members of our team who spent their weekend doing something a little more challenging than the usual 9 to 5.
On Sunday, Kirsty took part in the Rare But Real Walk at Bellahouston Park, raising an amazing Β£400 for Sarcoma UK .
Alongside her mum and son James, she walked in support of a cause that is very close to her heart. Her mum completed the 5K route alongside James, while Kirsty pushed on to complete the full 10K. Having seen first-hand the impact sarcoma can have on a family, this was a truly meaningful day for them all.
Meanwhile, on Saturday, Sarah Louise swapped a relaxing weekend for 15 kilometres of mud, ice water, obstacles, electric shocks and plenty of questionable life choices at the 15K Tough Mudder UK in Edinburgh. π
The challenge raised an incredible Β£650 for Beatson Cancer Charity , a charity that supports so many individuals and families affected by cancer across Scotland.
Between them, they've raised over Β£1,000 for two fantastic charities.
It's easy to talk about supporting good causes, but giving up your weekend, pushing yourself out of your comfort zone and doing something that genuinely makes a difference deserves recognition.
