Another review that we're incredibly grateful to receive.

Thank you to Margaret for taking the time to share her experience after we replaced her old guttering.

Sometimes the cheapest repair isn't the most cost-effective solution. In Margaret's case, the old guttering had been repaired several times, but the problems kept coming back. Replacing the worn system provided a long-term solution and stopped the leaks for good.

A full roof refurbishment currently underway.

The existing roof had reached the end of its serviceable life, so we've stripped it back to expose the roof structure and carry out the work properly from the ground up.

As part of this project we're:

✓ Removing the existing roof covering
✓ Repairing and replacing sections of the roof structure where required
✓ Installing new roofing felt to provide a modern weatherproof layer before the new roof covering is fitted

Taking the roof back to its structure allows us to inspect everything properly and ensure the new roof is built on a solid foundation.

We'll share more photos as the project progresses.

A recent garden clearance and tidy-up completed during last week's heatwave.

The borders had become heavily overgrown and were in need of some attention. We cleared back the weeds and unwanted growth, reshaped the planting areas and finished everything with fresh bark mulch to leave the garden looking much smarter and easier to maintain.

It's always satisfying to look back at the before and after photos and see just how much a space can change.

While we're best known for our roofing work, we also carry out a range of exterior property improvements, including garden clearances, landscaping, fencing and driveways.

A dry verge system installation completed recently.

The existing mortar on the gable end had become weathered, cracked and was beginning to fail in places. Rather than carrying out another mortar repair, the customer chose to upgrade to a modern uPVC dry verge system.

Dry verge systems help secure and protect the edge of the roof while providing a neat, low-maintenance finish. Unlike traditional mortar verges, they won't crack, break away or require regular patch repairs over time.

The result is a cleaner appearance and a more durable solution designed to withstand the elements.

If the mortar on your gable end is starting to crack or deteriorate, it may be worth considering a dry verge system as an alternative.

Out clearing blocked gutters this week.

It's one of those jobs that's easy to put off, but overflowing gutters can cause all sorts of problems if left too long.
