Christmas nights out are just around the corner! 🎄🥂

With work Christmas parties, festive dinners and catch-ups with friends filling up the calendar, it's worth getting your transport organised in advance!

East Ren TOA Ltd is based at the Westbourne Centre on Kelburn Street, providing a local taxi service for those needing to get about.

And with Christmas being one of the busiest times of year for taxis, it's always a good idea to plan ahead! 🚕

✨ THE GRINCH GO SLOW – LET'S LIGHT UP BARRHEAD! 🎉

You've heard of the 5km Santa Dash… well, Barrhead is doing things a bit differently this Christmas!

As part of the All About Barrhead Winter Glow Up, we're launching our very first Grinch Go Slow – a 3km, Grinch-speed grump around Barrhead, and we want your community group to be part of it!

🎄 The mission? Help us find the Grinch's missing Christmas spirit! Along the way, we'll pass the Foundry, where we'll attempt to melt that grumpy green heart and light up our Christmas tree, complete with its brand new star! ⭐

✨ The challenge? We want this to be Barrhead's brightest, most glowy and most spectacular parade yet!

Bring your glow sticks, light-up wands, flashing accessories, glowing costumes and anything else that sparkles, twinkles or shines! We want to see community groups getting creative, dressing up, having fun and helping us turn the streets of Barrhead into a glowing sea of festive cheer!

This isn't a race, and there's no need to dash. We're taking things at Grinch speed, with plenty of laughs, Christmas spirit and a little mischief along the way!

📅 Saturday 21st November 2026
⏰ Parade starts at 4.30pm leaving from the train station car park on Carlibar Road
📍 3km loop around Barrhead Town Centre

So gather your group, get your glow on and join us for a Grinch-speed grump to remember! 💚✨

You are welcome to bring your own banners, lights and of course Grinch themed clothing if you wish! 💚💚
