CNL are a leading supplier of fabricated pipe, process skids, vessels, as well as installing onsite pipework, mechanical erection & testing and term maintenance services for clients in the process, chemical, waste, water, petroleum, nuclear and power supply industries. As well as working directly for the asset owners, we also offer support to asset contractors with supply of fabricated pipework, t

op up labour and contract lift management and execution. At our state of the art fabrication facility, we can provide fabricated pipe, assembled and commissioned skids and vessels in a range of different dimensions and material grades. We are based in Billingham Teesside in the North East of England, with ideal transport links to allow dispatch of fabricated goods via road, rail, air or ship throughout the UK and Europe. We believe in attention to detail with quality, safety and reliability being the main focus for all our operations.

🎉Celebrating 36 Years of Dedication - Happy Retirement, Kenny!🎉

Today, everyone at Cavendish Northern Limited bids a fond farewell to our longest-serving employee, Kenneth Turner, as he retires after an incredible 36 years of service as a Pipe Fitter.

Throughout his career, Kenny has been an invaluable member of our team, playing a key role in the successful delivery of numerous projects and earning the respect and admiration of both colleagues and clients alike. His commitment, professionalism, and wealth of experience have left a lasting impact on the business.

In the final chapter of his career, Kenny dedicated his time to supporting our Fabshop operations, and, most importantly, mentoring our Apprentices and Trainees. By sharing his extensive knowledge and expertise, he has helped shape the next generation of skilled professionals entering the industry - creating a legacy that will continue long after his retirement.

While Kenny will be greatly missed by everyone at Cavendish Northern Limited, we are incredibly grateful for his years of service and the contributions he has made over the past three and a half decades.

This role combines key principles of Quantity Surveying and Cost Control, with a focus on pre-contract activities including cost estimation, material take-offs, bid preparation, and the application of cost-control techniques to ensure accuracy and consistency.

Essential Requirements:
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
- Strong analytical and commercial awareness

Preferred (but not essential):
- NVQ Level 3 in Pipe Fitting

Hours:
- 45-hour working week (9 hours per day, Monday-Friday)

🔹Crane Driver
We are seeking a flexible and reliable Crane Driver to support projects across multiple client sites, ensuring safe and efficient lifting operations that contribute to successful project delivery.

Essential:
- Mobile Crane Training

Preferred (but not essential):
- NVQ Level 3 in Rigging

Hours:
- 38-hour working week (8 hours Monday-Thursday, 6 hours Friday)

🔹Mechanic
We are looking for a proactive Mechanic to carry out inspections, maintenance, and repairs on our fleet of vans, trucks, cranes and HGVs. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about further training and professional development within the role.

Preferred qualifications and experience:
- PAT Testing Certification
- LOLER qualification
- Mechanical background in vehicle maintenance and repair
