Hello Exeter 👋

I’m Simon, and together with my son Zac, we run Hague Carpentry.

We’ve recently expanded our work into Exeter and the surrounding areas, bringing over 30 years’ experience in carpentry, joinery and kitchen fitting. Zac is a fully qualified carpenter (Level 2 NVQ), and we work as a reliable, professional team.

We specialise in:

Big news at Hague Carpentry!

Our son Zac has decided to join his dad full-time and focus solely on Carpentry, after spending the last year doing general building work since leaving college with his level 2 NVQ in Carpentry & Joinery.

Having him on board means we can now take on more work in the local area — with Simon agreeing to come out of semi retirement to help Zac get the wind in his sails and his career off on the right foot.

It’s a real bonus for our customers. You’re getting two qualified, professional, reliable, genuinely kind men — the sort of people you’ll feel comfortable having in your home — for a really great price as Zac is building his experience under his dad’s watchful eye and over thirty years of industry experience.

They are offering our usual comprehensive, affordable and professional service with fitted kitchens, decking, fencing, flooring, all interior and exterior carpentry and made to fit solutions for your projects and renovations. They also offer a handyman service, board up and glazing and furniture assembly.

It’s lovely to see that same care and pride in the work coming through in the next generation. Both of Zac’s Grandads are carpenter/joiners so it really is a family tradition at this point.
