Completed project.
This full-house renovation and double-storey rear extension transforms a 1930’s property within the Canterbury Conservation Area into a calm, modern family home. The design combines Scandinavian-inspired timber cladding and brickwork along with salmon orange glazing.
Inside, the extension and renovation focuses on warmth and simplicity drawing on Scandinavian, Korean and American influences.
The natural material palette includes ash flooring and joinery, microcement, pink marble and a bespoke terrazzo created using the marble offcuts to create a calm and functional family home.
The project delivers significant environmental upgrades, including insulation, windows, solar panels and an air source heat pump. The design also includes a fully concealed and integrated smart home system controlling lighting, blinds, audio, heating and cooling.
