After weeks of dry weather, the ground around trees can be hard and dry. Now we’re seeing heavy rainfall arriving quickly, alongside strong winds.
That sudden change in conditions can put extra pressure on trees and their root systems — especially older, mature or already stressed trees.
👀 𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐚 𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐜𝐤 𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐤 around your property for:
▪️Leaning trees or changes in position
▪️Cracks or splits in branches
▪️Broken or hanging limbs
▪️Movement or lifting of the soil around the base
▪️Branches that could fall onto buildings, cars or paths
This is a good reminder for homeowners, landowners \ landlords \ estate managers \ housing associations etc to keep an eye on the trees they’re responsible for.
