Job Overview
Rhino Recruitment is looking for experienced Blasters for a long-term project in Plymouth, working on internal and external blasting on submarines during maintenance, repair, and new build operations. Immediate starts are available for the right candidates, with up to 2 years of work experience.

Requirements
🪨 Previous experience in industrial blasting and surface preparation
📜 Valid blasting qualification/certification (ICATS, Train the Painter, OPITO or equivalent)
⚙️ Experience with grit blasting, shot blasting, or abrasive blasting techniques
🔒 Valid DBS check required
📄 Employment references demonstrating previous blasting experience
🚧 Ability to work safely within confined spaces and industrial environments
🦺 Own basic PPE required (additional PPE provided on site)
⏰ Ability to work 10-hour shifts

Rhino Recruitment is looking for a Quality Assurance Assessor to oversee roofing and cladding installations across construction projects in Bristol. The role focuses on ensuring all works meet project specifications, UK compliance standards, and company quality procedures through inspections, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

Requirements
🏗️ Strong knowledge of roofing and cladding systems, including standing seam, composite panels, and rainscreen façades
📐 Ability to interpret construction drawings and project specifications
🔍 Excellent attention to detail with strong inspection and analytical skills
📝 Experience producing QA reports, inspection records, and handover documentation
🎫 Valid CSCS card essential
🎓 NVQ Level 3+ in Roofing, Cladding, or Construction (or equivalent experience)
🛠️ Experience within QA/QC inspection in construction preferred
📜 Understanding of UK building regulations and compliance frameworks
🧪 Experience conducting or witnessing testing including water ingress, pull-out, and air tightness checks
🤝 Strong communication and coordination skills with contractors, site teams, and consultants

Rhino Recruitment is looking for an experienced Bricklaying Manager / Supervisor to oversee a team of bricklayers on the construction of a new aircraft hangar project in Cornwall. This is a 15-week project starting on 26/05/2026, working 9-hour days on a commercial construction site.

Requirements
🎫 Valid SMSTS or SSSTS qualification
🪪 Gold CSCS card required
🏗️ Proven experience supervising bricklaying teams on commercial projects
🧱 Strong background in internal blockwork & external facing brickwork
📏 Ability to oversee lining & cutting work where required
👷 Experience managing site productivity & maintaining high standards
🚗 Willingness to travel if based outside the local area
