So today marks our 5th year in business as a company! It’s crazy how quickly these posts seem to come round, genuinely seems like just a few months back I was posting about year 4.

This year has been our biggest yet in terms of growth for the company. We moved into our new unit which was quite daunting at first but it’s been a great investment for us.

We are looking at another busy year as plenty of work booked in for the next few months. However if you are looking to have any roofing work done don’t hesitate to give us a shout 🔨🔨

Finally a big thanks to all our customers , friends , family and followers without all of you none of this would be possible. Here’s to chapter 5 🎂🎉🥳

First full Re-roof of 2026 complete! Full strip and retile on this job as the tiles had to come to the end of their lifespan. Customer chose a grey flat cambre tile which gives the house a much more modern look!

Along with the new roof the customer decided to have the cladding on the dormer renewed along with the flat roof on the front of the property. Finally we added in a velux window on the rear of the property to add some additional daylight into a rear bedroom.

Our wee van is up for sale. Ford Transit Connect ( long wheel base ) 23,400 miles on the clock. Just been Mot’d this week for another 12 months with no advisory’s. Full Service history. Yesterday was fun while it lasted. Nice to get a full days work done while the rain stayed off and the wind stayed down. However looking at today’s forecast we are back to the norm for 2026 so far! We’d just like to apologise to anyone who is waiting on us coming out. Due to this consistent wet and windy weather we are having delays. We are still out there doing as much as we can so we will get to everyone who is booked in as soon as we can.

So that’s the last job of 2025 all wrapped up. Full roof replacement carried out for in Broughty Ferry. Unfortunately didn’t get as many before & during pictures on this job due to the poor weather however we’ve got a good few of the finished product!

We have opened the diary for 2026 and are booking in work so if you have a project like this which we could help you with don’t hesitate to get in touch.

That is us officially off on the Christmas Holidays as of today. We will return on January 7th all calls and messages will be returned then.

Another full re-roof completed in Arbroath. Been a busy couple of weeks getting this roof off all timbers renewed and re-tiled. Just a little over 200 square meters! This is actually the third full re-roof this year we have used the Marley Double Roman tiles so they seem to be a popular choice at the moment.

The tiles on the main roof of the property were reaching the end of their life span and starting to cause issues with water ingress. So we have taken them all off along with the old timbers and felt. Installed new breathable membrane, new roofing timbers , new lead valleys , new dry verge and ridge systems and finished it with a Grey Marley Double Roman tile. Customer is thrilled with the outcome as are we.

Full Re-roof completed in Carnoustie last week. Whole roof off right back to the roof trusses, new sarking boards installed, new breathable membrane, roof timbers then finally finished in a modern grey Marley Double Roman tile! I say this every time but the before and after pictures still amaze me every time when you get a brand new roof!

Song choice due to battling the weather elements throughout with this job! First day it was due to start we had to delay because of the high winds then again on the day we finished we got non stop thunder and heavy rain as you can see how grey the sky is in the pictures. The first pictures were actually taken today I popped back to get a couple when the sun was shining as I wasn’t happy with the moody sky and new roof combo!

We are now off on holiday until Monday 1st of September as we are off to Portugal tomorrow to attend a good friends wedding. All calls and messages will be returned then.

Full Re-roof we have completed recently in Broughty Ferry. These tiles had reached the end of their life span and become porous in numerous areas which was allowing water ingress into the property. We had to fully strip this roof back to the trusses, re board the whole roof before it was ready for tiling. Once the roof was ready for tiling we had the small task of loading just shy of 1,600 tiles up on to the roof! Managed to get this one finished up in time for the clients going off on their holidays which was ideal! The before and after pictures really speak for themselves and give the property a more modern look and most importantly keep the property watertight once again.
