REQUIREMENTS:
Construction or Civil Engineering Degree or similar preferred
Valid CSCS card
SSSTS or SMSTS
Temporary Works Coordinator preferred
Strong knowledge of Health & Safety legislation
Good knowledge of plant and construction processes
Excellent communication skills
Strong understanding of workflow and document control
Ability to work on own initiative and adapt to changing site conditions

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
Experience within construction or civil engineering essential
Managing quality assurance processes on site
Collating and managing ITPs with engineering teams and subcontractors
Supporting document control and accurate record keeping
Managing NCR processes
Supporting design coordinators and design managers
Tracking equipment and maintaining registers
Ensuring compliance with project quality plans and procedures
Managing and collating handover documentation including O&M manuals

REQUIREMENTS:
NEBOSH General & Construction Certificate
IOSH membership
Valid CSCS card
Full UK driving licence
Minimum 8 years’ experience as a Health & Safety Advisor
Experience within civil engineering / construction projects
Strong knowledge of H&S and environmental regulations
Good understanding of CDM 2015 roles and responsibilities
Ability to produce and review RAMS and safety documentation
Experience conducting audits, inspections and closing out non-conformances
Experience leading accident investigations and producing reports
Excellent communication skills
IT literate

Experience in drainage, groundworks, structures, temporary works, RC, earthworks and lifting operations would be advantageous.
