As 2025 comes to a close, I just want to take a moment to say a genuine thank you to everyone who’s supported Clint Stamper Training Ltd this year.

To every customer who’s trusted us, every learner who’s put the work in, and all the new friends and contacts we’ve made along the way — it honestly means the world. We don’t take any of it for granted. The conversations, the encouragement, the recommendations, and the opportunities you’ve shared with us have all helped us grow and keep improving.

One of the proudest moments of the year was being awarded BECBC Micro Business of the Year. I’m really proud of it — but more than anything, I see it as recognition of what we’re trying to build: training that’s practical, high quality, and genuinely helps people in the real world.

A big part of this year has been our Green Skills Bootcamps, and we were proud to welcome our first Ofsted visit in January focused on that provision. It was reassuring to have our approach recognised — the clear structure of the programme, the quality of the resources, the hands-on practical delivery, and the strong safeguarding culture we’ve built around learner support. It gave us real confidence and pushed us to keep raising the bar.
Through the Green Skills Bootcamps, we’ve been focused on building real, job-ready competence in solar PV, battery storage, and EV charging — helping support Cumbria’s move into green technologies, and enabling local electricians to take on the work that’s growing right here in the county.

We’ve also been proud to expand what we deliver with fire alarm regulations training aligned to BS 5839-1 — a really important area, and one we’re passionate about developing further because it matters.

The biggest thing for me, though, is the people. We’re passionate about what we do, and we care about doing it properly. Working together with all the new organisations, customers, and friends we’ve met along the way, the goal is simple: keep improving, keep raising standards, and keep supporting the industry to do things the right way.

✨ What an unbelievable night! ✨

We’re absolutely thrilled and honoured to have been awarded the BECBC Micro Business of the Year.

Three years ago, we quite literally started from nothing. I left my role at Lakes College, where I worked as a Curriculum Team Leader for Electrical and Plumbing, to join our family farm because I wanted to get involved in the farm diversification projects — and I had a small plan to run a commercial training centre from the farm, delivering the odd course each month.

Well… things have certainly moved on since then.

Today, we’re scheduling courses as far ahead as April 2026, delivering high-quality, short, focused training ranging from 1 to 5 days depending on the training needs and course requirements. The growth has been unbelievable.

But none of this would have happened without my amazing wife, Debbie. She is my absolute rock — the person who gave me the confidence to take the leap and believe in myself. This isn’t “my” business… it’s ours. And I’m so proud of what we’ve built together.

A massive congratulations to everyone who made the shortlist. Every business in that room is a winner in their own right, and the judges must have had an incredibly tough decision to make.

Thank you again to BECBC for this recognition. What a night. What a journey. And we’re only just getting started.
