I met Jess Yarwood β€’ Wedding & Family Photographer soon after I had started my flower farming journey, we were both on a flowery path of discovery.

Today she came to do a shoot at the farm and I asked to get my mug in there too... Well I'm an awkward little bean in front of the camera BUT...

This is why I love her style, within approximately 2 seconds of me leaning against the gate she got this and forgive me for blowing both my and her trumpet but I don't think I look awkward at all!

She took some absolutely gorgeous pics that I'll share at another time but I just wanted to get something out there today!

P.s I do NOT look like this most of the time on the farm 🀣

Bookings for Christmas Wreath Workshops are live on the website!

It feels odd to still be in summer and talk about Christmas, but unbelievably people have asked us about them already!

We had such a lovely time last year so why not get some friends together and join us this year?

Two dates available at the moment:

We had the best day yesterday at the last Pick and Paint event of the season! The biggest group yet and what a lovely bunch!

We are so thrilled with how Pick & Paint went this year, thank you to everyone who attended!



The day started with a farm talk/tour

Guests then had the opportunity to wander amongst the flower beds picking out their favourite stems 😍🌸

It was so wonderful to be outside for this event - we were treated to this flock to geese flying over!

Beautiful watercolour paints, Art by Susan Cowley takes our guests through different techniques

Practice pages and a final composition!

We love how everyone's creations are completely different and every one of them was amazing!

It is such a beautiful, calming workshop, everyone with their heads down at this point concentrating!

And of course homemade cake... This time the choice of a classic Victoria sponge or....

I had such a lovely order this weekend, and the first of these types of orders for me!

These absolute rays of sunshine were for a customer to make a bouquet bar at a baby shower. I've seen some before at weddings and I absolutely love the idea!

I was asked for 10 stems of 9 different types of flowers so that the guests could each make themselves a bouquet.

Isn't that just a gorgeous idea? Plus these were all grown about a 10 minute drive away from the customer!

A gorgeous example of all the seasonal blooms we have on the farm at the moment and someone choosing locally grown flowers πŸ’

Mixed buckets going out today, filled with pale yellows, pinks and whites and a good dash of greenery



The first of the dahlias, we've mostly got a beautiful pale yellow but the pinks are starting to show!

Our mixed buckets have lots of different interest, with each season it changes.

Gorgeous pale pastel Achillea, such an amazing cut flower with an amazing vase life, and it dries beautifully!

The echinacea is starting to really get going!

This amazing pink echinacea 😍 and the last of the leucanthemum in the background.
