Current work on a new bronze clad kitchen extension has made me look back at this one from a few years back - featuring automated glazing and a pocket door, creating a fully open corner once the glazing is pulled back.

The best projects always seem to be the ones where the client has faith in you to do your thing, as was the case here - and we’re delighted with the outcome.

Great work Developing and Building on this complete house transformation project we worked on in Bessacarr which is looking amazing as it nears completion.

One of the main moves was to knock through the small hallway into the first reception room to create a spacious hallway for a feature stair. Looking forward to seeing the bronze crittall doors installed to complete the space.

An application we have recently submitted for a house in a beautiful plot in the Conservation Area on Bawtry Road.

The proposals are to create a new double height glazed entrance acting as a welcome beacon by night and flooding the hallway with natural light by day.

The transformation also includes a new corner glazed garden room which allows the living spaces to more easily spill out into the generous gardens surrounded by stunning trees.

Before and after images of a transformation project we are working on in Sprotbrough, in a truly unique setting featuring stunning tiered gardens surrounded by mature trees.

The proposal seeks to replace the existing series of steps and split levels at the rear; instead creating a sunken garden room, utilising the sloping terrain.

The three arched glazed doors at the lower lawned area frame views of the beautiful landscaped gardens, whilst the terrace flows out from the main living spaces above.

It has been a delight developing this kitchen extension with a very climate conscious and energy educated client, with the aim of creating an architecturally stunning addition which also has good thermal performance.

Whilst framing wide open views over generous mature gardens the entirely glazed rear elevation features an over hang to take out the heat of high angle summer sun.

Other climate controlling measures we are exploring are super insulation, solar controlled glazing and mechanical heat recovery systems.

Concept images for a major renovation of this premier residence in Birchwood Dell in the South Bessacarr conservation area, testing ideas for modern glazing, exterior lighting and a more refined palette of materials.

One of the main principles inside is to open up the floor plan, with a more spacious entrance, stairwell and family spaces. Another move is to create better views and an improved flow out to the generous grounds surrounding the property.

It’s all coming together nicely now at our Melton Road project in Sprotbrough. We’ve leaped from single storey to 3 - adding a recessed balcony at the top floor off the master bedroom to frame the beautiful surroundings.

The double height vaulted entrance flanked by reclaimed stone walls will offer a full open view to showcase a bespoke metal staircase which skewers through the three floors.
