Underfloor heating install on a recent extension project.

Insulation and membrane laid first, then the pipe circuits set out at consistent centres and clipped down. Everything gets pressure tested before the screed goes over the top — once it's covered, there's no going back.

Wet underfloor systems run at lower flow temperatures than radiators, which makes them a good match for heat pumps and gives you an even heat across the whole floor. No radiators taking up wall space either.

The framework for this loft conversion is now complete — new steel beams installed, floor joists laid, and the roof opened up and reframed ready for the next stage.

Everything sits under a fully sheeted temporary roof, so the property stays watertight while we work.

Drainage Behind Retaining Walls

With drainage:
✅ Reduces water pressure behind the wall
✅ Helps prevent cracking, movement and damp

Without drainage:
⚠️ Water can build up behind the wall
⚠️ Increased pressure can cause cracking, bulging or movement
⚠️ May lead to costly repairs or structural issues

Faded red timber → deep charcoal. Full facade transformation, finished.

Every cladding board stripped out and replaced, not just painted over. New timber, new finish, matched fascias and rainwater goods. The white brick plinth stays, and now it actually contrasts properly.

Design to completion, all handled by us.

This cladding has done its years. Faded, patchy, a few boards past saving.

New facade going on shortly — cladding replaced, brickwork tidied, the lot brought back to matching.
