Let’s have a look at all the features of this beautiful kitchen island. ✨

The hob sits flush into the island with extraction built straight in, so there’s nothing overhead beyond the pendant lights. One side seats two on stools for a chat while something’s cooking, the other brings drawer storage with room for more stools so seats can face each other. To the right, deep shelving keeps pots, pans and cookbooks within reach.

One kitchen, four rooms, and we designed every one of them to hold its own distinct colour story while still feeling like one home.

We grounded the kitchen in Tuscan Red from Little Greene, balanced against Silent White cabinetry, then carried a different pastel tone through the utility, office nook and pantry, each considered on its own but planned to tie back into the whole.

The result is a colourful home that still feels calm and warm as a hug without ever tipping into overwhelming.

Bespoke design means really understanding how a family lives before we design a single cabinet.

This room had no true right angles, a kitchen that never sat right in its Victorian home, and a family always falling over each other. What they wanted was to make the most of the space, with an island in the mix, but keep it light and airy.

The client’s idea was a haberdashery-style piece, so we adapted the kitchen island to look like one. We also built a new wall, giving the room its first true right angle and optimising the awkward angles the space had to work with.

Every kitchen starts with how you live and cook, so we work with a range of cookers to suit.

Many clients choose an Aga, Lacanche or Everhot range cooker, traditional in character yet available now with electric and thoroughly modern workings. For a fully contemporary feel, we love a Bora hob with extraction built in, freeing the space above the island, often paired with Neff slide and hide ovens.

Kitchen tour: this one’s in a gorgeous house in the Scottish Borders. ✨

Bespoke cabinetry finished in Mouse’s Back, sleek quartz countertops, and every detail built around how the family lives. Pull out drawers, a boiling tap, an , and a little pantry for everyday shelving.

Two dishwashers, one for everyday dishes, one for pots and pans. A separate cabinet with bifold doors hides the smaller appliances and extra crockery, keeping the whole space clutter free.

✨ Not your typical kitchen island, this one was designed to look like a piece of haberdashery furniture...

Our client didn’t want a typical kitchen island, they wanted something that felt like a haberdashery cabinet, a piece of furniture. So we crafted this bespoke piece in reclaimed oak, designed entirely around her own taste and vision.

The detail people always ask about: how did we get sockets on the side of it? We ran the electrics under the floor and up through one of the legs, so the island reads as pure furniture with nothing on show.

Let’s take a look at this boiler room renovation we completed for a Georgian home. ✨

The space felt cluttered and purely functional, so we set out to transform it into somewhere both practical and beautiful. We designed custom bifold cabinetry to conceal the boiler entirely, preserving easy access while maintaining a clean, considered aesthetic, and carried the same finishes and detailing through from the kitchen next door.

The rich cabinetry tells one story in daylight. Switch the lights on in the evening and the warm glow behind the glassware tells another, internal lighting, pendants and under cabinet lights creating a softer backdrop, perfect for entertaining.
