✨ Another beautiful finish for a local customer!

We’ve completed this mixed Acme brindle plain tile roof, plus a fully adhered Sika single-ply membrane on 150mm insulated mansard section. Traditional style meets modern performance — keeping homes warm, dry, and looking great for years to come.

Working with great local builders makes all the difference! 🙌

⚠️ A QUICK WARNING THIS WEEK ⚠️

Instead of our usual tip, we want to send an important message:

🛑Roofing fraud is on the rise across our area.🛑

Please — never agree to work with someone who knocks on your door uninvited.
✅ Legit roofers don't need to cold-call
✅ Don't feel pressured — it's okay to say no
✅ Get quotes from at least 2–3 trusted local companies
✅ Never pay the full amount upfront

Stay safe, everyone. Pass this on to family and neighbours too! 🏠

🔨 MAB ROOFING TIP OF THE WEEK 🔨

⚠️ After the Storm ⚠️

Wind,💨 rain and hail 🌧 can cause hidden damage. Check for 👀 lifted flashings, cracked tiles, granules in gutters — that's your roof's protective layer wearing away! Catching it early saves hundreds later! 🏠

🔨 MAB ROOFING TIP OF THE WEEK 🔨

🍂Keep Those Gutters Clear!🍂

Fallen leaves and debris can block your gutters, causing water to overflow and potentially damage your roof, walls and foundations. 🧱
A little maintenance now can help prevent bigger problems later! 😊

🟢 Watch Your Moss 🔍 🟢

A little moss might not look like a problem, but heavy growth can hold moisture against roof materials. Keep an eye on it 👀 and get professional advice if it's becoming excessive. 🏠

🔨 MAB ROOFING TIP OF THE WEEK 🔨

Don't forget your chimney 🧱🏠

Cracked mortar, damaged pointing or loose chimney components can lead to water getting into your home. 🏠

🏠 LOOK UP!

You don't need to climb onto your roof to spot potential problems.
From ground level, look for:
🔍 Missing or slipped tiles
🔍 Sagging areas
🔍 Damaged fascias
🔍 Blocked or overflowing gutters

Sometimes a quick look can spot a problem before it becomes a bigger one. 😊

🏠ROOFING TIP OF THE WEEK🏠

💧Seeing a damp patch on your ceiling doesn't necessarily mean you need a new roof.
The cause could be a small area of damaged flashing, a slipped tile, blocked valley or guttering problem.
🔍A proper inspection can identify the actual cause before unnecessary work is recommended.

👋 Meet the man behind MAB Roofing & Maintenance

Hi everyone! 👋
It’s been a little while since I’ve been active on Facebook, so I thought it was about time I introduced myself properly!

I’m Mark Baker, owner of MAB Roofing & Maintenance, proudly based in Exeter and working across the local area. 🏠🔨
I’ve been an experienced roofer for 28 years and I’ve always taken great pride in my work. For me, it’s not just about doing a job and moving on — it’s about doing the best job I can, being honest with my customers and providing a reliable service at a fair and reasonable price.

When I’m not up on a roof, I’m a big rugby fan 🏉. I used to enjoy playing but as I’m getting a little older, I’m much happier watching these days! 😂 You’ll regularly find me at Exeter Chiefs, both home and away, supporting the team.
I’m also really proud that MAB Roofing & Maintenance is a sponsor of Exeter Saracens RFC

❤️ But most importantly, I’m a family man.
My wife Donna and my daughter Amelia mean everything to me. I work hard, but I also make sure I make time for the people who matter most.
We love spending time with our friends and family, travelling together and, most importantly, making memories.

So that's a little bit about the man behind MAB Roofing & Maintenance.
I'm looking forward to getting this page active again, sharing some of the work I've been doing over the years and introducing more of the people and businesses I work with.

If you've used MAB Roofing & Maintenance before, I'd love for you to leave a comment and say hello! 👋

And if you don't know us yet, welcome to the page! 😊
