Another large loft completed today.

A great transformation, making the loft a much safer and more usable storage space.

🔨 Work carried out:

* Raised loft boarding installed throughout the full main section.

* Full loft hatch relocation.

* The old loft hatch had been installed directly over the top handrail, making it impossible to safely install a loft ladder.

* New loft opening cut out.

* New timber drop-down loft hatch and ladder installed.

* 2 x 5ft mains-powered, non-corrosive LED loft lights installed.

Large loft transformation completed today ✅

The old loft hatch was removed and a larger loft opening was cut out to allow for a new drop-down timber loft hatch and ladder, providing safe and easy access to the loft.

The old water tank frame was also removed, and raised loft boarding was installed throughout the full main section of the loft.

🌿 Garden tidy-up completed yesterday! 🐶

This customer wanted her garden made safe and secure for her new small dog, who she will be getting soon.

The work included:

🔨 A new 4ft fence and gate built

🔨 An new 6ft fence reduced to 4ft and close-boarded at one end to prevent the dog escaping into the neighbouring garden

🪨 New Decrotive chips laid in a few areas to give the garden a clean, finished look

🧱 Uneven and loose slabs and coping stones made safe and secured

🪵 10 new fence posts installed on a fence that was starting to fall over

🚪 Another new gate built

🐕 Small areas where the dog could escape were securely fenced off

The garden is now safer, more secure and ready for the new arrival! 🐾

Another large loft transformation completed yesterday for a returning customer.

I previously installed a new drop-down timber loft hatch and ladder, and this time I was back to complete the next stage of the project.

✅ Raised loft boarding installed throughout the full middle section of the loft.

✅ Old unused water tank fully removed and disposed of.

✅ 5ft non-corrosive mains-powered LED loft light installed.

This has transformed the loft into a safe, well-lit and easily accessible storage space, giving the customer plenty of extra room.

Large full loft completed yesterday ✅

• Old flooring removed that had previously been installed on 3x2 CLS. Unfortunately, the top layer of insulation had been removed by the previous installer. Raised loft boarding should always be installed using stilts or similar to maintain proper insulation depth.

• Old water tank frame and base fully removed.

• 40 square metres of raised loft boarding installed throughout the loft.

• New loft insulation installed throughout to bring it up to the recommended 270mm standard.

• Old loft hatch removed and replaced with a new, larger drop-down loft hatch.

• 3-tier aluminium loft ladder installed.

• 5ft non-corrosive, mains-powered LED loft light installed.
