25 years of Bath Granite & Marble doesn’t happen without the people behind it. The whole team spent an afternoon celebrating together at The Warren a chance to properly stop, look back and thank everyone who’s been part of getting us here. A lot of this team have worked together for years. We think that’s part of why the BGM experience is what it is. More from the day to come.

No, we don’t sell baths.
It’s the most common thing people say when they come into the green-fronted shop on Lyndhurst High Street and it’s a fair guess from the name.

Bath Granite & Marble is a stone company- marble, granite, quartzite, quartz, porcelain and sintered stone, for kitchen worktops, splashbacks, bathroom vanities, fireplaces, window sills, bar tops and bespoke furniture.

The showroom is there so you can take your time over it. Compare materials side by side, take samples home to see them in your own light and get straight answers on wear, cost and how long a job takes.

No appointment, no pressure, no obligation to book anything . Plenty of people who come in are a year away from starting.

Over 25 years doing this. Everything is cut and finished at our own factory in Frome, Somerset and fitted by our own team across the New Forest, Hampshire and more.

A Southampton kitchen we templated and installed recently- CRL Quartz in Statuario Verde.
Two decisions worth pointing out, because they’re the ones homeowners tend to agonise over:
The splashback is the same quartz as the worktop, run full height. It means no grout lines to scrub behind the hob and the veining carries up the wall instead of stopping at the tiles.
And the island is 30mm with an ogee edge, while the runs are 20mm with a chamfer. Thicker and softer where you stand and lean, slimmer and sharper where it sits against cabinetry. Most people assume the whole kitchen has to be one thickness. It doesn’t.
Green cabinets, brass, warm-grey veining- it all works because the stone was chosen alongside everything else.
