Another project completed by the LDH Solutions Ltd team.

We have recently completed a high-level LED lighting upgrade at a busy commercial transport site, improving the lighting across trailer park and container base areas.

Following a lighting survey, lux level assessment and LED lighting design, we carried out the upgrade to improve visibility, safety and energy efficiency across the site.

One of the main challenges was that the existing high mast lighting towers could not be lowered, so our team had to access the fittings at approximately 35 metres using specialist high-level MEWP equipment.

The works included:

• Removing the existing discharge floodlighting
• Installing new LED floodlights and luminaires
• Fitting new brackets and high-level fixings
• Testing the existing cabling for suitability
• Working safely at height while keeping disruption to site operations as low as possible

This is a great example of the type of commercial and industrial electrical work LDH Solutions Ltd can deliver, from survey and design through to installation, testing and handover.

Today we’ve had Paxton Access training at our Leeds office, focusing on Net2 access control systems.

The session covered the full process, from installation and commissioning through to software setup and day-to-day system management.

It was a great opportunity for the team to sharpen their knowledge and make sure we continue delivering reliable, well-set-up access control systems for our commercial and industrial customers.

A busy week for the LDH Solutions Ltd team.

This week we’ve been working across a real mix of electrical and compliance projects, including:

✅ LED lighting upgrades at 40m high
✅ Power and data installation for an office in Harrogate
✅ EICR testing for an industrial customer in Manchester
✅ Domestic EICR testing
✅ PAT testing
✅ Access control installations

It’s a good example of the range of work we carry out, from planned electrical upgrades and compliance testing through to data, security and access control systems.

Great to see another job completed by the LDH Solutions Ltd team, this time at the new Hill Dickinson Stadium, within the Everton Stadium Club Shop.

We were asked to provide new power and data installations for the “My Moments” terminal locations, which will help support the customer experience inside the club shop.

Our works included the installation of new socket outlets and data points at both ground floor and first floor level, carefully planned to suit the exposed services style of the building.

The installation was completed using:

⚡ Metal clad twin socket outlets
📡 New single data outlet positions
🔩 Galvanised conduit and containment drops
🧰 Surface mounted installation to match the existing site aesthetic
✅ Electrical testing and certification on completion

A key part of this job was making sure the new installation blended in properly with the surroundings. With the club shop having an exposed services finish, the detail mattered. Galvanised containment, neat conduit drops and metal clad accessories were used to keep the final installation looking consistent with the rest of the building.

The data works also involved making use of existing high-level containment routes where possible, along with reusing and relocating suitable redundant data cabling identified during the survey. This helped keep the installation practical, tidy and efficient without unnecessary disruption.

It is always good to be involved in projects where the small details still matter, especially in such a high-profile venue.

Another project successfully completed at a Manchester Academy by the LDH Solutions team. This one included the removal of the existing lighting, installation of new LED lighting and emergency lighting, new stainless steel floor sockets within the tiered seating, cable management, power supplies, and the installation of interactive screens. All works were tested, certified and handed over on completion. A tidy finish and another job delivered. 💡⚡🖥️
