Another office fit-out well underway in Leeds city centre ⚡️

The LDH Solutions team are currently carrying out the electrical installation package, including underfloor busbar distribution, small power, lighting and the sound system.

Plenty going on behind the scenes to get everything ready for handover and bring the new workspace together.

A good example of the commercial fit-out work we’re carrying out across Leeds and the wider Yorkshire area.

Another project completed by the LDH Solutions Ltd team.

We have recently completed a high-level LED lighting upgrade at a busy commercial transport site, improving the lighting across trailer park and container base areas.

Following a lighting survey, lux level assessment and LED lighting design, we carried out the upgrade to improve visibility, safety and energy efficiency across the site.

One of the main challenges was that the existing high mast lighting towers could not be lowered, so our team had to access the fittings at approximately 35 metres using specialist high-level MEWP equipment.

The works included:

• Removing the existing discharge floodlighting
• Installing new LED floodlights and luminaires
• Fitting new brackets and high-level fixings
• Testing the existing cabling for suitability
• Working safely at height while keeping disruption to site operations as low as possible

This is a great example of the type of commercial and industrial electrical work LDH Solutions Ltd can deliver, from survey and design through to installation, testing and handover.

Today we’ve had Paxton Access training at our Leeds office, focusing on Net2 access control systems.

The session covered the full process, from installation and commissioning through to software setup and day-to-day system management.

It was a great opportunity for the team to sharpen their knowledge and make sure we continue delivering reliable, well-set-up access control systems for our commercial and industrial customers.
