Arc-Tech (Scotland) is delighted to announce that six new trade apprentices have joined us this August, building on a decade of sustained investment in youth employment.

This year’s intake, ranging in age from 17 to 19, will begin their four-year plumbing and electrical programmes alongside 13 other trade apprentices, following the full retention of six 2025/26 apprentice graduates. They will each help support our growing business needs while addressing the wider building services sector’s shortage of skilled labour.

Our industry-recognised apprenticeship programmes combine practical on-site experience with structured mentorship and applied learning with some of the country's leading colleges, helping young people build rewarding long-term careers.

Arc-Tech (Scotland) is delighted to be onsite alongside CCG Scotland Ltd and Arc-Tech MU for Stirling Council.

As an accredited Tesla Energy M&E contractor, we look forward to beginning the installation of the TESLA 'Powerwall' battery storage units for what will be our third development to receive such an offering from our division, which has already commenced the installation of in-roof solar PV panel systems.

Our Sprinklers Division will also be on hand, with a tailored fire suppression solution, developed alongside CCG's Technical Department, set to be installed across all 44 homes.

Together, these measures form part of a highly coordinated approach to , and we look forward to seeing how works progress in the months ahead.

Spring awards season has come to a close, with multiple projects supported by our in-house divisions recognised. 🥇

Earlier this month, we shared news that the Paisley Central Library for Renfrewshire Council, and the 120-home St Andrew's Drive Phase 2 & 3 for Southside Housing Association 🏡, both aided by our M&E Services expertise, were recognised by The Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland awards as two of only ten winners this year.

Well, we are delighted to state that St Andrew's Drive, alongside the 26-home Bellsmyre Regeneration for Caledonia Housing Association, secured a gong at the Scottish Home Awards, while the Dundashill Regeneration, of which Arc-Tech has supported two phases of residential development, scooped an RTPI Scotland Excellence award, and a SILVER Scottish Design Awards.

The 28-home Pine Place for New Gorbals Housing Association in Glasgow's southside was also recognised as a GOLD Scottish Design Award-winner, topping off a very successful few weeks!

Arc-Tech proudly supports all-tenure housing delivery in Scotland by installing zero-emissions heating, solar PV panels, EV charging, and fire suppression systems, and we are delighted to see so many projects securing some of the industry's top prizes.

We extend our congratulations to the main contractor for each of these projects, CCG Scotland Ltd, and every member of the delivery teams who made them happen! 👏

Arc-Tech (Scotland) proudly supports CCG Scotland Ltd across the central belt of Scotland with turnkey M&E Services for new build construction projects in the residential, commercial and care sectors.

Through our involvement in new-build affordable housing projects, we regularly contribute to community benefit programmes, including careers-focused events that enable us to engage with school pupils and showcase the range of opportunities available to young people within the industry.

One of our more recent initiatives was an event at Wester Hailes HS in Edinburgh, where our division was on hand to demonstrate how a home's solar PV panel system is installed and operates. The event forms part of a wider community benefit programme associated with Murrayburn Gate, a 73-home development for The City of Edinburgh Council - local to the HS - which has been supported by both our Renewables and Fire Suppression divisions.
