Project Update | Oakham, Rutland

We're pleased to share the latest progress from this exceptional luxury home at a beautiful location, overlooking Rutland Water.

The Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS) superstructure is now complete, showcasing a striking roof design formed by large section Glulam beams set at precise heights to create a curved finish. Once finished, the property will feature a live grass roof, allowing it to blend sympathetically into its stunning natural surroundings while delivering outstanding environmental performance.

Every SIPs panel for this project was precision manufactured at our Hereford facility before being delivered to site and installed by our approved installation partners, ensuring accuracy, quality and an efficient build programme. This is another fantastic example of how SIPs panels can be used to achieve ambitious architectural designs without compromising on performance or sustainability.

We're proud to be working with NMITE (New Model Institute for Technology and Engineering) to help support the next generation of engineers.

Over recent months we've met with the NMITE team, and taken part in their innovative Live Design Brief programme, where our Operations Director, Stuart Speight, provided feedback to student project teams before returning as part of the judging panel.

It's been fantastic to see NMITE's hands-on approach to engineering education and we're looking forward to continuing our partnership through factory tours, site visits and industry engagement.

Project Update | Inwoods Park, Rugby, Warwickshire
It's great to see the first phase of this exciting new development at Inwoods Park in Rugby really starting to take shape.

Working in partnership with BoBen Construction Ltd, this impressive scheme will deliver a collection of beautifully crafted 2, 3, 4 and 5-bedroom homes, combining contemporary design with outstanding energy performance.

For Phase One, Glosford SIPS designed and manufactured 172mm Kingspan TEK® wall and roof Structural Insulated Panels (SIPS) at our Hereford facility. The superstructures were then installed by our approved installation partners, helping to create robust, highly insulated building envelopes with the speed and precision that off-site construction delivers.

It's always rewarding to see a project progress from the superstructure stage through to completed homes, and we look forward to sharing more updates as the development continues.
