Talbot Pipelines Ltd A family run business located in Cornwall. Talbot Pipelines Ltd was established in 2009.

We specialise in all aspects of water mains and services installation primarily across Devon & Cornwall, but also undertake bespoke projects throughout the UK. The initial concept and core company business activity was as a consultancy for the water industry, specialising in the planning and project management of water mains rehabilitation techniques. In October 2013 Talbot Pipelines Ltd formed a

construction division to compliment the already established consultancy division. This construction division undertakes the installation, repair and maintenance of water mains and services for established principal contractors of utility providers. The levels of service we provide across both division has given us a fantastic reputation with our experienced staff complimenting clients existing structures. We have become an essential part of pre-construction delivery teams by ensuring the stability of the delivery programmes, providing expertise and leadership, and leading in the consultation with all third party stakeholders. Thank you everyone including, Talbot Pipelines Ltd and Ocean MINI , for your donations to Keiran and Charlie's fundraiser in Barney's name.

Charlie and Keiran are the inspiration behind Barney's Army 2022.

The set up their just giving page to help others like their friend Barney, who was diagnosed with cancer in April.

Charlie and Kieran share a birthday, they were born in the same hospital on the 11th October 16 years ago. Their parents didn't know it then, but the boys have become firm friends for life.
Charlie, Kieran and Barney are amazing young men, whose friendship and care for each other is inspiring and so lovely to see.

Thank you, Kieran and Charlie, for being the best friends a boy struck by cancer can have! Barney is taking you to Plymouth Karting later today to say thank you and for a birthday treat!

Talbot Pipelines Ltd are a well-established potable water installation company that have been successfully operating for over 15-years in the South-West region. With our existing long-term contracts and a growing number of clients, we are looking for a range of personnel to join our family run business.

We currently have opportunities for operatives in Cornwall and Devon, to work as part our water mains and services installation teams.

Full Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and committed individuals to work as part of our team. As an operative, you will be led by a ganger and will be working Monday to Friday from 0700 – 1700, with the opportunity of overtime when required.

The ideal candidate would be those with experience in potable water mains installation and maintenance. However, if you have limited experience but are interested in working in an outdoor environment carrying out manual work, then we would be interested to hear from you too.

As well as a full valid driving license it would be useful if you had the following qualifications:

• EUSR Water Hygiene
• EUSR SHEA Water
• CSCS
• CPCS/NPORS
• NRSWA Operative

It would also be desirable if you had experience in any of the following:

• Experience in excavations by hand and with machines including deep excavations.

• Experience in street works and excavating the highway.

• Experience in Manual handling, Abrasive wheels, use of Cat & Genny

We currently have opportunities for Gangers in Cornwall and Devon, to work as part our water mains and services installation teams.

Full Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic, hardworking, and committed individuals to work as part of our team across Cornwall & Devon. The normal working our will be Monday to Friday from 0700 – 1700, with the opportunity of overtime when required.

As a Ganger it is important that you can take the lead ensuring that projects are delivered within the required timeframe and be confident in completing daily safety documents, inspections, and records.

As well as a full valid driving license (CAT C+E), we are looking for those with experience/qualifications in the following:

• Utility work specifically water mains installation and maintenance, with experience in butt fusion/electrofusion welding, pipe laying, fittings installation and chamber construction.

• EUSR Water Hygiene

• EUSR SHEA Water

• Experience in excavations by hand and with machines including deep excavations with qualifications in under 10T excavator.

• Experience in street works and excavating the highway with the relevant NRSWA qualification.

• Experience in Manual handling, Abrasive wheels, use of Cat & Genny with the relevant qualifications.

Whilst the following are not essential it would be desirable if you have any of the following:

• Experience of controlling works and dealing with interested parties (customers, client or other organisations)

• Great interpersonal, leadership and problem-solving skills.

• Experience and qualification in over 10T excavator.

• Experience and qualification with a wheeled dumper.

• A minimum of a CSCS operatives card and ideally SSSTS
