🏡 JOB COMPLETED – BANKFOOT ✅

Another outdoor transformation completed by McMorrow Contracts Ltd.

This area started with old timber decking, uneven paving and a tired layout. We stripped it back, rebuilt the levels properly and created a much cleaner, more usable patio space.

Works included:

🔹 Removal of existing decking and old surfaces
🔹 Excavation and preparation of the area
🔹 New compacted sub-base
🔹 Bradstone Peak Riven paving
🔹 Slurry primer applied for correct adhesion
🔹 Timber sleeper edging/retaining detail
🔹 New linear drainage channels and connections
🔹 Concrete breakout and associated groundworks
🔹 Falls formed to manage surface water correctly
🔹 Additional paving completed around the existing outbuilding

A huge improvement from where this one started, and great to see the original concept turn into the finished result. 👷‍♂️🔨

Applicants must be confident working independently and experienced in:

✅ Kerbing and edging
✅ Slabbing and landscaping
✅ Levels, falls and setting out
✅ Operating small plant and machinery

You must be reliable, hardworking, able to maintain a high standard of workmanship and capable of completing tasks without constant supervision.

☑️ Driving licence essential
☑️ Relevant plant tickets would be beneficial.

Excellent rates of pay depending on experience and ability.

✅ PROJECT COMPLETE – PERTH GARDEN TRANSFORMATION ✅

What a difference on this one 👷‍♂️🔥

From a tired and impractical outdoor space to a safer, stronger and far more usable garden area, this Perth project has now been fully completed by the McMorrow Contracts ltd team.

Works included:

✅ New retaining wall rebuilt and repositioned
✅ Nearly 30 tonnes excavated and removed from site
✅ Major groundworks completed in a very tight working and access area
✅ Improved drainage and long-term groundwork preparation
✅ New raised decking area constructed
✅ Fresh timber fencing and balustrades installed
✅ Slabbed lower patio area completed
✅ Full solar RGB lighting package fitted

This project was all about creating a more practical, longer-lasting outdoor space for the client; and the final result speaks for itself 💪

Biblical weather in Perthshire this week, but the boys weren't getting stopped! 🌧️💪

A quick site-built shelter kept the tools dry and the job moving.

This is Phase 2 of an ongoing project, giving a tired old deck a complete new lease of life. We're carrying out a full rework including new balustrades and spindles, a cantilevered deck extension, and a full LED lighting package. 😱😁

Massive credit to the team for cracking on through some challenging conditions. Looking forward to showing the finished result. 👌

🚧 Progress Update – Another Project Taking Shape 🚧

Big transformation on this Perth project over the last week 👷‍♂️

✅ New retaining wall rebuilt; stronger than ever and repositioned further back for a safer, more practical layout
✅ Nearly 30 tonnes excavated and removed from site
✅ Major groundworks completed in an extremely tight working space with limited access
✅ Drainage and groundwork preparations continuing to improve long-term water management

We’re now moving onto the next phase:

🔨 Raised decking area currently being stripped
This project is all about creating a safer, stronger and longer-lasting solution for the client and the difference already is massive 💪

Another project underway in a stunning spot in Tibbermore 🌿🏡

The team at McMorrow Contracts have kicked off the groundwork for a new garden room, along with a beautiful cobble set pathway to complete the space. Great progress already being made, with the team working hard as always 💪

🚧 Works Well Under Way – Another Project Progressing Nicely 🚧

McMorrow Contracts Ltd are currently on site carrying out major remedial groundworks and drainage improvements in Perth.

So far we’ve:

✅ Removed unsafe rotten decking and steps
✅ Broken out the unsuitable retaining wall
✅ Started moving the retaining wall back 3+ metres for a safer, more practical layout
✅ Excavated retained ground and unsuitable material
✅ Preparing for new foundations, drainage and a slabbed area

This project is all about doing the job properly; improving water management, creating safer access, and building a solid long-term solution for the client.

🔧 Requirements:
✔️ Valid CSCS Card
✔️ Full UK Driving Licence
✔️ Experience in all aspects of groundworks

⭐ Highly advantageous:
• Excavator tickets
• Dumper tickets
• Other plant tickets

💰 Pay: £16 – £21 per hour (depending on experience)
🚐 Company vehicle provided after successful completion of probation period
