Great to see the completion of our project at Hollington Youth Hub in Hastings.

We gained planning consent in2025, on behalf of East Sussex County Council to adapt and extend the existing Victorian building used as a youth hub into a new fit for purpose mixed use centre.

The building contains community cafe space, large multi use hall, art and music rooms, gym, treatment rooms and office space as part of an ambitious community project

The main original Victorian building has been restored and enhanced, the original framework exposed, with contemporary extensions added in brickwork and red seamed PREFA United Kingdom & Ireland cladding.

The building is due to open its doors to the community for its first events in September

We’re delighted to share that our Dutch Barn Conversion has been shortlisted for the Home Transformation of the Year (over 2,500 sq ft) at the British Homes Awards 2026.

Set within the Kent countryside, this project transforms a redundant agricultural barn into a contemporary family home, carefully balancing the building’s farming heritage with modern living. Retaining the original steel frame and curved roof, the design celebrates the barn’s character while introducing a highly sustainable, energy-efficient home through a simple, robust palette of timber, corrugated steel and natural materials.

We are excited to share that our planning application for Rathfinny Wine Estate in the beautiful South Downs National Park has just received unanimous approval at Committee.

As the world's first grower-producer of sparkling wines to achieve B-Corp certification, Rathfinny has sustainability at the heart of its ethos. As a fellow B-Corp certified practice, this shared commitment to the environment perfectly aligns with our own context-led architectural approach. To meet the growing demand for high-quality wine tourism, this scheme carefully expands the estate's visitor accommodation while remaining deeply sensitive to the surrounding open downland.

Our proposal prioritises the reuse of the existing Flint Barns to create a new dining experience, alongside the addition of 10 new, low-impact overnight units. We have designed six Grape Picker Huts nestled discreetly within a former chalk quarry, utilising the natural topography for screening, and a four-room Stable Building that reinforces the site's historic farmstead character.

The architectural language is deliberately restrained, drawing on traditional, locally appropriate materials. By keeping the building forms low and compact, minimising light spill to protect the dark skies, and encouraging pedestrian and cycle access, this design allows more guests to fully immerse themselves in the beauty of the vineyard and the tranquillity of the South Downs National Park.

Hazlehurst Point is a new build house recently complete, located on the edge of Bewel Water Lake, in a sensitive part of the High Weald National Landscape area. The building was designed to take reference to Wealden Barn vernacular, using similar forms and natural cladding.

The new house has large open plan ground floor spaces overlooking the lake and garden, with a large first floor living room and external terrace divining panoramic views over the landscape

With the heatwave our recently completed beach house in Bexhill-on-Sea is looking very appealing with the sea breeze.

The project involved the demolition of a derelict 1950’s structure and replacement with a new 4 bedroom house split over two levels.

The site sits high up on the cliff top overlooking the beach, and is cut partly into the slope, with staggered landscaped terraces leading to steps down directly to the beach. The elevated position is exposed to the elements, so the design creates pockets of sheltered space from wind, rain and sun externally.

The open plan living spaces overlooking the sea, and expansive stepped terraces allow for great flexibility for both family time and entertaining.

Externally the building combines off white brickwork, lined render datum details by Keim Mineral Paints | Sustainable, Breathable Paints and Renders and natural red grandpa with Russwood | Timber Specialists 🌲 SiOO:X Wood Protection UK treatment.

Internally, the muted natural tones give a calm interior and enhance the view, with dark timber veneered joinery, large format floor tiles and subtle lighting details.

This coastal home embraces calm and privacy within the busy seaside town of Camber. Kitchen, dining and living spaces open to a sheltered courtyard garden. The landscape design creates a patchwork of interconnected outdoor spaces with covered walkways offering shade and linking the main house to a series of cedar clad outbuildings. A peaceful family retreat a short walk through the dunes to the beach.
