Andy Whitelaw Joinery are a well known and trusted company, specialising in everything from door and window installations to bespoke made joinery, kitchens, extensions, specialist glazing, and much more. We have extensive knowledge of the trade and are trusted in both the residential and commercial market, regularly carrying out works for the local council, police, schools, and campsites.

We currently have an excellent role on offer for an experienced and competent UPVC installer.
The main duties of this role are installing UPVC windows, doors, conservatories, Orangery Roofs, and Fascia’s & Soffits.

The successful applicant will:

• Have 2 years+ experience in fitting Upvc Windows, Doors, Composite Doors, Conservatories, Orangery Roofs, and Fascia’s & Soffits
• Have a full UK driving license
• Have good customer service skills
• Have good practical skills and an eye to detail
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team but also as an individual and to liaise with customers and other contractors during the installation process
• Work safely and have a good understand of safe working practises including working at height
• Be physically able to carry out the role including carrying tools and materials as required to complete the work
• Have good time keeping, be hardworking, well organised, committed and enthusiastic
• Be able to solve problems quickly and efficiently
• Be able to reliably commute to Scarborough (YO12 7BP), or plan to relocate prior to commencing employment

Further Details
PPE and uniform are provided but your own tools are needed.
Working hours are 7.30am – 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
28 Days paid holiday per year including bank holidays.
Weekly Paid.
Permanent, Full-time.
£33,000.00 per year.

❤️ Proud to Support Saint Catherine’s ❤️

Following our post back in mid May, we are proud to confirm that we managed to raise £67 for Saint Catherine’s.

We wanted to do something a little different, so decided that for every order we recieved from our original post in mid-May until today, we would donate an additional £1. With 58 orders received in just over 6 weeks, and contributions from our staff we were able to donate £67. Thank you to all who placed an order with us and a massive thanks to the team for helping support this incredible cause 🙏

🤩 THIS ONE TOOK FOUR TEAMS 🤩

What a fab effort from the team today in replacing this large, curved pane of glass for North Yorkshire Council down at Scarborough Spa. This pane of glass was located in the suncourt where weddings are held so needed to be a like for like replacement.

What a great effort from the team! Carried out in a safe, efficient and professional manner….with a quick breakfast sandwich in between 😋🤭.

🔥 Bring A Pound To Work Day 2025🔥

Bring a pound to work day returns on Tuesday 1st July and Andy Whitelaw Joinery are going a little further this year in support of St Catherine’s in their Ruby year.

For every order that we receive between now and Tuesday 1st July we will donate an additional £1.
