Trench Works | Surfacing Completed

Another successfully completed highway resurfacing scheme for Kent County Council in Margate.

The project involved planing out and replacing the existing carriageway, followed by the reinstatement of road markings and specialist High Friction Surfacing (HFS).

Key works included:

🔹 Planing out the existing carriageway to the required depth and preparing the surface for resurfacing.

🔹 Installation of 60mm AC20 HDM, providing a robust and durable binder course designed to withstand highway traffic loading.

🔹 Installation of 40mm SMA 10 Surf, delivering a durable, high-quality and uniform finished surface.

🔹 Reinstatement of all required road markings, restoring lane guidance and the road layout.
