Been a bit quiet on here lately, but we’ve still been busy — got to keep Alonso in his treats! 🐶😂

Today we moved Golspie’s Christmas lights 🎄 Crazy that it’s getting to that time of year already!

We were also back with returning customer Key Housing in Golspie, moving furniture up and down stairs 😩🙈😂 and taking away some old couches and a freezer for disposal. One couch had about £300 worth of Murray mints that just kept falling out all the way to the van 😂

Back in Tain, we collected two quarter van loads of waste — one kerbside collection and one shed clearance. We also dismantled and removed a wooden children’s playhouse that was practically the size of a small shed! 🔨🚐

The waste was then taken to our commercial waste partners, Highland Waste Services, who are currently operating from Northern Recycling following storm damage at their own site. Wishing them all the best getting things sorted 👍

Thanks to all our customers for keeping us busy — your support is always appreciated!

🏆 HIGHLAND HURL - LIMITED EDITION SCENE!

Nearly 2,500 bags hurled, around 84 players last week and Alonso’s still picking up after you all 😂🐶

To celebrate, our leaderboard’s top two - Gordon Mackay and Scott Cowan have been added to their very own special scene! Apparently being good at throwing rubbish now earns you celebrity status in the Highlands 🤣

Thanks to everyone who’s had a go since we started counting on 26 September. It’s been brilliant seeing the competition—and the determination to reach Nessie!

Have a throw, look out for the lads, and see if you can knock them off the top 👀

🎮 Highland Hurl update 🐶

A few folk noticed the game was doing some questionable things. I was going to stick the chief complainer in the skip, but with the price of diesel, I stayed home and improved the game instead. 😂

The glitches have had a tidy-up, and the wind now changes while you line up your throw. Get your angle, power and timing right and you might just make it to Nessie Land. 👀

Sorry for the earlier glitches, from Alonso and me. The AI would also like to apologise, but apparently it’s taking no responsibility whatsoever. 🤖

Alonso’s been out in the van, and I’ve had a go at Highland Hurl… 🐶🚐

Hurl a bag across the Highlands, see how far you can get, and put your name on the leaderboard. There’s a final bonus scene too—but only the best see Nessie 👀

Sick of waiting for GTA 6? Have a Highland Hurl while you wait. 🎮🐶♻️

Alonso and I have launched a wee game on the Highland Tidy website. Pick your angle, time your throw and see how far you can fling the bag across the Highlands.

Put your name on the leaderboard and see if you can beat the top score. There’s even a bonus scene—but only the best hurls will find it. 👀
